I can barely tell Celes and Terra apart

Not only do I have to play this game, but now I have a greater respect for the classics. I never noticed how many times the opera theme was used throughout the series.

I'm such a sour puss, the last FMV brought me to tears... havent seen that FMV or heard that music in close to 20 years ! Where does the time go?

allow me to explain what's the confusion with Terra's hair. the psone port was not made in house at SquareSoft, they had an external dev team do it. they're called Tose and to this day they act like "ghost developers" because they don't put their brand in the credits. so, by the time they had to animate these FMV's, instead of working from the character sprites of the game, they instead based the models on Yoshitaka Amano's illustrations that by that point were the only "official" art of the game (you can tell that simply by looking at the model's eyes and face shapes, it's absolutely Amano's style in early CGI). Amano has this thing that he doesn't like using darker colors on the hairs for whatever reason, so most of his illustrations have blond hair (there's art of Squall, Garnet and even Tifa with blond hair). so my theory is that since Tose was not in-house and this port was done in an attempt to bring FF6 to the west with its original title alongside FF5 to ride on 7 and 8's popularity (1999), they were in a bit of a hurry so nobody at SquareSoft thought the change was a big deal, or maybe they didn't have enough time to fix the mistake. now this only gets worse by the time Dissidia comes out. Square probably thought a lot of people were going to be confused by Terra's green hair so they decided to change the canon. thankfully they added a green haired skin for her, even if it's not fully canon. honestly, if an FF6 remake ever gets *green* lighted, we better get green haired Terra. this whole confusion is silly and seriously, she just looks like Celes.

If they ever make a remake for this, I hope they make the characters look more similar to the FMVs here than Dissidia's. Their faces look more ethereal and fantasy-like than modern JRPG

I always found it odd that they used the same sprites for the younger versions of Edgar and Sabin. They would've been dressed differently and Sabin was supposed to be a lightweight. Shadow's pink skin in this was really creepy.

The second one was a rather low-key reward for beating the game the first time I saw it. But it's my favorite one now.

Thete so many characters in six would been hard get them all I the video but yeah decent wish they played better the ps1 games are so buggy but best versions if you can get them to not glitch sound maybe even better than SNES and you get the cutscenes for five and six
