As i say in the video, it's not quite as good as a traditional clay bar, but that being said, it is still a very good product and i would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have the time required to use a proper clay bar. It is also able to be used up to 5x so represents much better value than a traditional clay bar

I ve just used this tonight. Quite impressed! It leaves a smooth finish, without all the agro of a clay bar. I went over with super resin polish. ... wow I ve never had such a shiny car!

@@DaveRebuilds no, it was getting cold and dark..... I was thinking of aqua wax? Thats all I ve got to be honest!

@@fill7t1 lol that’s annoying. Yeah aqua wax should do the job if we are talking about Autoglym aqua wax? Just something to protect the paint as polished and compounds just make the paint look shiny, wax protects it 👍🏻

Yeah autoglym. Just found some high gloss protection. I would have to wash again to apply this after being sat in the works car park all day lol.

Just used this today. So much quicker then using a clay bar. Will do a second pass tomorrow to see how it feels.

Yeah it’s good isn’t it, I use them all the time if the paint isn’t too bad 👍🏻

@@DaveRebuilds I used to have a 1998 Integra type r the paint on that was softer and being white a clay bar was a must. Wish I had this then. Good to see the detailing industry producing a product that suits those of us who can no longer spend 3 hours on Saturday claying the car. 👍

Out of curiosity do you just use the clay mit the whole car? No cleaning off any captured dirt?

Yup, use it on the whole car, the mit should catch all the dirt. I have a bucket of water close by to continually dunk the mitt in to remove any grit etc that is loose 👍🏻

That’s made my decision to get one even more as I’ve been given a clay bar by a friend & to be honest not really sure how to use the clay bar as never done it before! Least the clay mitt is fool proof

I have a video on using a clay bar if it helps? It’s super simple, trick is just not to apply pressure to the clay, let it do the work and just glide it over the surfaces 👍🏻

Do you have to polish it after the clay mitt?

Yeah as the clay mitt will make some very light scratches, so give it a polish then a wax/sealant/ceramic coat to make it look super shiny 😃👍🏻

@@Lottatherotta yeah no reason why not, essentially all it’s doing it picking up really embedded dirt so will do a good job of glass as well 👍🏻

ive seen the pros use clay and washing detergent. then polish and wax

Yeah detergent and water is just as good a lubricant as quick detailer. I use it all the time 👍🏻

Wee Man lol, you can use dairy liquid on your car when you are planning on polishing and waxing it all in one sitting. Wouldn’t recommend it for a weekly clean type scenario
