The hiring process for G4 involved them asking "what superhero would you cancel?" It's like I'm witnessing a eldritch lovecraftian entity. My mind keeps telling me it shouldn't exist, that what I'm witnessing is an impossibility that defies all laws of logic, but yet there it is - right in front of me. And so as you try to force your mind to understand that "yes, this is real and is happening right now, right in front of me, now please help me make sense of what I'm witnessing" your brain just warps in on itself and drives you deeper and further into insanity trying to force your mind to comprehend the incomprehensible.

Yup, I used to love Xplay's skits like (Splinter Cell Co-Op Theater) with Special Agent Bob and Secret Agent Steve, Roger the Stan Lee impersonator, and even the time they did an entire episode at the Star Wars convention where Ratty was Yoda 😂 Cheat used to be awesome and even useful in the era where cheat codes were common and they were the first to show the original Ninja Warrior competition from Japan....I couldn't understand anything as it was in Japanese 😅 but it was still fun to watch

I never understood why G4 was even "coming back". Even when it was still on the air, it only had like 3 original shows of its own. With internet content skyrocketing in the '10s, there was literally no market for G4 programming anymore.

That was when it was TechTV. When they switched to just G4, it turned into the cable version of the Mt. Dew and Doritos channel. Extended Play used to do in depth reviews, studio tours and show early access videos. When they switched to X-Play, you got one or two quick (usually incorrect) reviews, then 15 minutes of the most embarrassingly cringe skits ever made.

The most impressive aspect about the entire G4TV trilogy is that in the time from Frosk's rant about sexism in gaming to now, I've moved to a new state, got a new job, and visited Puerto Rico for the first time. It's a true testament to using your time effectively. You can either blow money going to California and ruining G4 with woke BS, or you can move on with your life and laugh as the circus freak bus passes you while on fire.

I'd been interested in "the comeback" of G4 for about twenty minutes after hearing about it, because nostalgia. Then on minute 21, I heard the Frosk-rant, laughed and tuned out, leaving it behind in memories now stained with the image of Sessler's scowling, aged face and Frosk's (who I'd never heard of before that minute) shrill screech of a voice. Great video.

G4TV/TechTV taught me so many things when I was younger and opened my eyes to stuff I’ve never seen before, alas. It was doomed the moment KZfaq and Twitch gained prominence. What came back recently wasn’t that, it was a masquerading thing, that didn’t even capture a shred of the old days, and didn’t deserve the branding. Still sucks they didn’t have a vault with all their old shows up for viewing, watching VHS and DVR rips can get dicey after a while.

Just give us the news, top 5 funny videos, report from a geek convention, do an interview with somebody, Chris gore movie review. 45 min show but not strict to time limit. Lean, mean and clean.

Olivia munn was basically the first fake e-girl. Saw a market of lonely nerdy men and decided to invade that niche demo to grift off said teenage boys and lonely guys for attention. She's no different than every other chick in that space that dresses up as a character they don't even know whilst pretending to be a fan of it. Someone asked her basic questions about X-Men and it was supposedly her favorite and she couldn't answer. Just walk up to some cosplay girl and ask her one of the most basic questions regarding the charachter or show the character is in and they won't be able to answer. Cherry on top is after she was done with G4 she never seemed to have posted, said or done anything that'd even remotely hint at her being a geek/gamer girl.

All of the hot cosplayers got banned from conventions, social media shunned them, and even KZfaq cancelled any attractive gaming girl not part of Twitch's thotarchy.
