Gabby the man who quite literelly celebrated when Martin O'Neil left Villa after their most successful spell in the Premier League because he "worked him too hard" .... work shy and suddenly he loves Villa again.

I celebrated too. MON was a dinosaur and only money made it look like he achieved anything. In truth Villa should have got rid of him after two seasons. Villa Park was more of a bouncy castle than fortress. As for Mourinho, I love him, he's a winner and STILL a fantastic coach. The only reason I wouldn't want him at Villa Park is we already have Emery and Mourinho's record at Villa Park is even worse than O'Neil's..he's never won there.

@@bertiew6771 Martin O'Neill took over when Villa were 16th, He had a finish of 11th, then 3 finishes of 6th, after he left Villa were back down to 16th, 15th, 15th, 17th, then ROCK BOTTOM of 20th and relegated with 17 points. And you have the audacity to say he wasn't a good manager. Your celebration of him leaving saw Villa rot. Well done. Oh and btw the Villa board wanted Champions League football so they had to spend. The owners spend. Not the manager. Emery has spent over £140 million euros in 16 months but you ignore that lol ffs

I was there every week, losing out 3 times to David Moyes' skint Everton, dull football at Villa Park, buying a new defence every season, spending like money was going out of fashion, tactically clueless and the way Pubehead left us, you worship who you want but never forget it was your Saint Martin who shat on the Villa.

Emery won't be there long once a bigger club comes in for him. Given what Jose has accomplished, he would be taking a step back going to Villa. No offense.

Gabby Agbonlahors opinions matter about as much as mine on football as we both won the same amount of trophies (none). Mourinho is divisive, but he's a winner and his record is right up there with the best and Villa would be VERY LUCKY to have him. Only reason he won't end up at a club like Villa is they're small time for him.

Bring Mourinho to Newcastle. If there is ever a man who can break the trophy curse it is Jose. He got Roma to two European finals back to back. Won one and was close in the other one had it not been for a poor ref. The toon would benefit from Jose's mentality.

Gabby was unreal in his prime and was a nightmare for any defenders also played at the top level throughout his whole career including his country. Watch his highlights and see him beat world class defenders week in week out. Could have easily played for any of the top 4 at the time but showed loyalty to his boyhood club ,a rare thing in today’s game. Think he is more than entitled to an opinion about a game in which he played at the highest level in . Keep up the good work gabby 👍⚽️

As a Villa fan his stats suggest otherwise, he was good for 2or3 seasons alongside Carew, with Young, Milner, Downing providing. 76 goals in 13 seasons is not only underwhelming, it`s poor. And his lack of application in his last few seasons was disgraceful.
