Gainer flash is a one leg backflip with a flashkick. It's the fundamental swing flip that can be learned even without any flipping background using this progression line:
1. J-step swing. Train this a lot until it's comfortable.
2. The so-called swing 540 kick. This is basically an upright gainer flash.
3. Learn to spot over your shoulder.
4. Do the swing 540, lean to your side by spotting the ground as during the previous step. Try to flip more and more. You should land most of your attempts.
5. Get used to how the completely invert gainer flash's takeoff feels.
6. Commit when you feel ready. Use whatever soft surfaces you have if possible. Swing your leg in a straight line.
Remember to use your arms! Looks easy but you need quite a lot practice to do it properly.
