Getting to spend an hour with four such positive people always lifts my spirits. I can use it too since I had 2 PS5s taken from me this week during the checkout process. This gotta be one of my favorite episodes ever!

This was such an awesome show! Love this crew. They're so much fun to listen to, they're so knowledgeable, they aren't afraid to criticize, they have fun with tangential conversations (my favorite topics!), and they just seem to be such great friends, and it makes the show all the more pleasant to watch. Justin making Daemon laugh hysterically was fun to watch. Sam had so many great, funny comments (Donkey Kong Country connects to the Mario universe for sure, and I don't care about stories in game, either. That's what books and movies are for to me). Loved hearing Tina's thoughts on Hitman. If Cybershadow has Daemon's approval, I'm willing to try it. That Tomb Raider timeline idea was GREAT. Justin is really making want to try Aeon's End. Deckbuilders are my favorite tabletop games. Their reaction to 20 questions was priceless. Not an original idea; I remember the Scoop crew joking about that a long time ago, but still fun.

I loved that 20 Qs 😂🙌 was pretty excited for how well it was going and the twist was better than Shyamalan 🥰

The problem with having to log in to play these games. It defeats the purpose of these quick load hard drives. Because instead of waiting ridiculous times for the game to load. We now have to wait ridiculous times for us to log onto the servers.

You should have disqualified movie tie in games for the celebrity in videogames question. So if you think about Hollywood actors who accepted a completely new role for a videogames, only a few come to mind: Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077. Bruce Willis in Apocalypse. Vin Diesel in Ark 2. Everyone in Death Stranding. Mark Hamill in Wing Commander 3 and 4. So I guess Mark Hamill is the winner for doing a new role made for videogames at least twice. But obviously I might forget some people, also it was the same role twice, so I'm not sure it should count.

Great show guys. I’ve been watching now for a couple of years. One thing I kinda notice is that you guys will have a conversation about current titles or things going on currently in gaming and Sam will divert the topic to a comparison of an old Nintendo game. I totally get it, I grew up with NES and Super Nintendo but sometimes it’s nice to not compare everything to that one Nintendo or Super Nintendo game. Not every game has the chance to be the first ones who did that one thing that old game did 20+ years ago.

I so am trying to get into Hitman 3 PSVR. I don't understand why they went to a hybrid motion control with the Dual Shock. I would have been fine using the Dual Shock if it was straight up flat screen controls with head aiming. Or go full on move. Not this format

Meaning he never got the memo. And Godzilla is none to happy. BUT on the same note ... Godzilla thinks Kong was captured by the Humans and that is why he initially attacks the humans. Nobody puts baby in the corner. Especially when Godzilla, the newly crowned King of the monsters is watching. So if the Humans did capture Kong at some point. Godzilla would be angry. And if Kong was hanging with the humans. Godzilla would be equally angry.

The games I remember with the most Celebrities were the Def Jam fighting games.

About Tomb Raider, I say they should just let go the stories of the old games. Let it be its own thing. Just keep going with the reboot franchise and then maybe in 10-15 years, they can just reboot it again. Keeping the continuity is always nice but it should never be to the detriment of the game.

There's some weird issues to deal with, such as the fate of Lara's mother, if they try to make all the games canon. I think they should just treat it like the James Bond series does: don't adddess it. Let people suspend their disbelief.

Good to hear Crystal Dynamics is going back to Tomb Raider. I loved what they did with the reboot and hated that they left the franchise to make Avengers. I wonder how much that game being a flop has to do with them going back to Tomb Raider. I also found it surprising how dismissive Sam was about a 25-year franchise when he said who needs Tomb Raider if there’s a new Indiana Jones game coming out. If memory serves previous Indiana Jones games are nothing to write home about.

The additional accounts, are for cross-play and cross-progression. Mixing old and new Lara, they're talking about the tone for the next Crystal Dynamics game that will be a follow up to the reboot trilogy. I think those are both pretty obvious. Love Gamescoop as always, but what even are these first 30 minutes haha.
