I don't want one but you did a great review. As a matter of fact I just bought a summit titan and glad I did. I paid a lot more than 99 bucks but you get what you pay for

Cool Video. Very Informative. I think spending the extra money on the summit sd would be a better investment imo. I don’t think I would feel comfortable taking a nap in that stand lol.

What would you say would make this better? I was thinking of modding it a bit from materials I was able to grab from work. I have a bunch of 500lb bungee ropes that I thought I could use two as the tether, instead of the strap. Maybe also make the seat a bit more comfortable? Thought of adding the bungee to the foot area as well to copy the summit ones. All in all I think the stand is a lot heavier than most.

Hey Gloszz Outdoors! Thanks for checking out my channel! Yes it is a pretty heavy stand. I like your bungee idea for the tether. That’s smart! The bungee for the foot platform to mimic Summit would also be great! I think the seat is actually pretty comfortable, so you might not need to change anything there. The one thing you should try to figure out, is how to pack the seat cushion behind the backpack straps. That steel on your back is no fun. Maybe pick up a summit utility strap to secure to seat to the tree (instead of the ratchet strap). Other than that, just watch the shorter foot platform and you should be all set! Best of luck this season 👍🏻

@@mountainbuck I just rewatched your video and made a few of the fixes I mentioned. You are nesting it wrong. The smaller piece goes into the holes into the bigger one. I wish I could send a photo to show you.

Would it be better to fork over the extra 60-100$ for a summit steel? I saw your review on that stand, it seemed good deal. Which has more standing room, sitting comfort, and mobility? Do they come with shoulder straps to transport it? Summit steel seems to have larger foot platform, and be a bit lighter. Do the straps that connect the seat to the stand wear out and break?

Hey Bradley, I would 100% go with the Summit Steel. Lighter, bigger platform, more comfortable, safer in the tree, better climbing system and it’s a Summit (best in the business as far as I’m concerned). The backpack straps will last you a good while, but you can alway replace/upgrade with Summits elastic backpack straps if needed. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

The straps provided by Summit for the Viper Steel are functional but not comfortable. I packed mine in 2 miles over rugged terrain and hated life. Look at some XOP straps for an upgrade if you get the climber.

Could you strap this to a pack frame to make the carrying more comfortable? Looking at getting this since I’m on a tight budget.

Hey TaterToT Crew, thanks for checking out my channel! I would imagine you could. Summit sells a 2 pack of their utility straps that I like for situations like this. Best of luck this season👍🏻

@@mountainbuck thanks for getting back. I found the Summit viper steel for only a little bit more. Seat looks more comfortable and just a little less weight. I checked out your review on the summit climber, very good.

@@tatertotcrew yeah man, really good decision! Summit is the best and the Viper Steel is way better (more comfortable, better climb, bigger platform, lighter weight. It is a really solid treestand. You will love it!

For better climbing sig and climb not lean and lift pluss nog on a smooth bark tree l like most of you reviews but this on needs some work spilling locks the top part in better every time you go up pluss in the event the bottom fall you end up sitting not hanging by your armpits
