Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is still one of my all time favorite games. If I had to choose any game to get a remastered version it's this game. Still in my top 3 favorite games after 13 years ❤️

Web of Shadows needs a remake, or at least a port to Switch, ps and Xbox. I almost feel bad for the ppl who missed out on that game.

Spider-man web of Shadows is a severely underappreciated video game ,I hope insomniac take inspiration for the black suit gameplay in the sequal ,being able to switch from the red and black suit with the click of a button would be an incredibly welcome return

There was a Game called Armored Core 4 Answer in which based upon the decisions, the bad is killing every survivor on earth. Then face the last line of defense, and after defeating them the last cinematic says "you will keep continuing killing the last remnants of people".... Pretty bizarre

Web of Shadows was a whole different experience I completely enjoyed playing on the wii compared to the Xbox and Playstation versions released. I would recommend it you can get over the quirky controls for the quick time events and if you can find one for the wii .^.

The Star Wars Ep. 3 video game on PS2 had an alternate ending where the power of the Dark Side DOES beat the high ground, and Anakin ends up chopping off the emperor's head and winning at life. That game doesn't get enough credit. It was pretty damn good.

I can't watch the entire thing as there are games I want to play in the future BUT this was very entertaining. Thank you, Falcon & Gameranx for being the best gaming channel on YT!

#8 ~ You do actually get a reward for blowing up the Citadel. It's the only way to reveal a secret part of the Citadel which contains the absolute most powerful handgun in the game. An area you simply cannot access while the structure is standing.

Web Of Shadows was different, but in a decent way. It was a "What If" game. I'd play it again, or a game in that vein (does that make sense?). Game switch-ups matter (in my opinion, at least) and I wish more developers had the "taste" to do it well.

I remember playing the Force Unleashed as a kid, before I understood the concept of video games having multiple endings. The first time, I got the good ending and had enjoyed the game so much that I immediately started a second playthrough. You can imagine my surprise as my 8 year old self watched the final cutscene, expecting the good ending; the ending I knew and loved only to watch my character get stabbed through the back and all my teammates killed. I was absolutely devastated.

I feel like the kamski ending for Detroit should be followed up with a message from the developers insulting the player screwing up so bad lol. Like that’s the icing on the cake right there. Same with mass effect 2.

Persona 4's Accomplice Ending will always be one of gaming's most chilling but iconic Bad Endings, it is so frighteningly depressing, and the the fog completely covering up the town, while blocking any light or hope from ever reaching Inaba again is both thematically perfectly, and just as equally unsatisfying as the protagonist leaves Inaba with the truth forever hidden from the world and his friends as he forbids the town to their fate of eternal damnation.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention Infamous: Second Son. That’s the first one that came to my mind. SPOILERS BELOW Delsin goes out on his whole mission of the game in order to save his village of friends. But if you go all evil throughout the game, he returns home only to find everyone is disgusted by what he’s become and says he’s no longer welcome. So he loses his temper and uses his ultimate move on the village, destroying it.

Woah, I don't think I've even thought of Zone of Ender since playing it decades ago! Definitely a fun enough game. I've gotta hunt that down. Cool video, Broseph.

The Mass Effect 2 part had me rolling, I remember having a conversation with a buddy back in the day after I beat it and I was going on about how good it was and my friend was all disgusted and went on about how it sucked and was too short, come to find out I did all the side missions while he just rushed into the Omega 4 relay as soon as he could, smfh some people’s children

Tactics Ogre will forever be my preeminent game when it comes to choices and endings. To this day, especially the PSP version the fact the lawful path isn’t a generic cartoon villain path, doesn’t lock in a bad ending and actually rewards the most recruitable characters is outstanding. It’s probably the only game where the main character becomes a “villain” with blood on their hands but the reasons and philosophy behind it, that you can understand why they did it.

I'm glad so many people recall web of shadows! I remember playing way back when and being so in awe of how awesome and horrifying all the symbiotes were and how they game got progressively more grim. A remake would be sick... Just not one by the people who did it for GTA...

One of my favorite weird sort-of-bad endings is, if I'm remembering correctly, ending E in Drakengard for the PS2. You play as a man named Caim (pronounced like time) who makes a "pact" with a dragon named Angelus. Ending E has you fight the queen grotesquerie (grotesqueries are these evil cherub things that are the main villains of the series). During the ending, you get sent to modern-day Tokyo and have to fight the battle against the queen while on Angelus's back (controlling Angelus, of course). After you win, you get a brief cutscene where you see fighter jets show up, hear dialogue from the pilots about a UFO, and finally see an image of Angelus impaled on Tokyo Tower, having apparently been shot down by the Japanese air force. Of course, to get this ending you have to go through the other four endings first, which takes a long time. Also, this ending is strangely the catalyst for the events of the NieR games.

I'm surprised infamous wasn't on this list. In infamous 2(spoilers) Cole can end up becoming a the most powerful character that gives other people powers and tries to wipe out the rest of humanity because they have a plague or something. I think Magneto would be a good comparison. Since Sucker Punches success with Ghost of Tsushima it would be nice and profitable to port the first two infamous games. Web of Shadows too. No one would be displeased with that.

Great list, I apologize for the correction here, but the accomplice ending is exclusive to Persona 4 Golden, not base Persona 4, you should probably update the little info titles on the video ticker to fix that IMO.

I'm so happy! I haven't seen anyone mention Shadow of Destiny apart from me in years and it made the number 1 spot! Also: Bad endings that came out of nowhere...Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders. If you enter the visa code wrong to leave the country then Zak ends up in a prison and you get 4th wall berated for not having a legitimate copy of the game (i.e. the visa solutions are in the user manual). I think you can't get this ending after you get the other three characters that you can switch between.

I actually loved the system of Web of shadows. But then again I like Morality gams like that. And wish there was more like it. I hope we get another Web of shadows style game sometime or one like Infamous

Force unleashed 2 ending was more bizarre with dlc and super short. At least force unleashed 1 had the ultimate sith edition following the bad side ending with force unleashed 2 following the good side.

I figured Infamous Second Son to be here considering the evil ending has Delsin obliterate his entire community because he’s been shunned. It cuts right before the explosion but man that ending still gives me chills.

The best ending in Detroit is the one were it turns out that the corporation intentionally engineers a desire for Civili Rights into the robots in order to assure they become unusable every few years, thus obliging customers to buy a new model regularly. Like Apple's "Planned Obsolesence" policy.

I've noticed this with a few of your videos now, love that on PC/mobile people can know what games are potentially going to be spoiled for them in the description, but if you're just a tv viewer (sorry), a short list of them on the screen would be handy too!

I played a JRPG called Exist Archive and it takes place in a separate dimension where you and your friends are trying to find a way home. The game has an ending where you can purposely be the only one who gets to go home and completely ditch all of your friends. The best part about this twist is that it's completely the opposite of what the main characters personality appears to be. Both you, the player, and his friends would never see this coming unless you already knew or planned for this ending.

I actually kinda got the mass effect 2 ending. It wasn't as bad but like 2/3 of my crew died due to either me not making the loyalty missions (or failing them) or me being unprepared in some areas like the Shields weren't that powerful

Steambot Chronicles for the PS2 had several endings, including a few if you followed the game's evil route. In the finale, you board a blimp that's set to attack the cities of the country the game is set in, and you have the option to either follow all the orders given to you, rebel and turn good, or try to take control. If you follow all the orders, the main character, Vanilla, is led around like a dog by the game's true villain, basically making him look like a tool that got used and humiliated. However, if you fight back, Vanilla becomes the leader of the evil organization and leaves to go do more evil acts as the credits roll. Regardless of which choice you make as a bad guy, you'll wake up in the post-game in prison, which does kind of suck since you basically don't get any benefit from being evil.

Zone of the enders is my favorite game. First game i ever played when i was 4. I've done dozens of playthroughs for both games. When i was around 7 or 8 i found the bad ending. I was like Leo said "just playing" i played the game so many times i just started blowing everything up this time. I got scared when i saw THE END. Unexpected as hell. Even my dad was surprised. Before anyone says anything, yeah i get it's a rated M game but honestly having played it as many times as i have, it's doesn't seem like it at all and frankly should just be rated T.

Shadow of Destiny was only called that in NA. Everywhere else it's called Shadow of Memories. I spent hours and hours as a kid playing it to get every ending!

Force unleashed 2 does have a follow up where the clone wipes out the rebellion on Endor before being backstabbed by Palpatine.

Web of shados was my favorite superhero game back on xbox 360, and the fact it's mentioned here makes me really happy.

it's good to have a choice present to you to choose which path you want the character to take.
