It seems that the battle at 7:56 was a last desperate attempt to help the remaining forces in Saudi Arabia connect with the rest of the anti USA alliance but the forces in between them held their ground resulting in the remainder of the war having the Middle East firmly in US and allies hands. Another major conflict seemed to be at 9:10 when all of the reserve forces were called in to do a massive assault on the Russian frontlines which ended with Russia being put on the defensive for pretty much the entire rest of the campaign. Around this time India seemed to be holding strong against China and keeping them from helping their Russian allies in the Eastern European front. The Indian front was probably the bloodiest of the war and was one of the major reasons the Chinese war machine was beginning to crumble.

It's somewhat accurate . However India is shown to be very weak. Here , chinese will have to fight a bloody war with Indians in Himalayas and seen the experience indian armed forces have in high altitude ( Siachen ) chinese would be literally slaughtered . Also if they somehow cross Himalayas indian tanks and artillery would be waiting for them . The delay they would have in Himalayas would result up in piling up of resources from the Indian sides. So most probably china would end it's advance by the time they reach lucknow. And then they would be pushed back

I don't think it's that easy to traverse himalayas since it will suicidal for any army from north logistically . If we talk about by air then many cargo planes with full payload will have hard time to fly through those heights and freezing temperature that can even freeze the fuel of plane if it is not running.
