I thought Miller was on the side of Solid and Venom. Why is Miller sending Solid to Venom's base?

I used to be a solid snake guy but man as they expanded on big boss and the boss and there struggles and what they went thru....team big boss all the way...the clones are all cool in there own ways but MGS 3 really put such an emotional twist on things and expands on why so much happens and what drives various characters.

I've always liked Big boss but I have a favorite side for solid snake dude been through more sure big boss had a lot of sad moments but to be clone all you're life been made to be just a weapon with a rapid aging

Here's my fantheory: MG1 boss is the "original" Big Boss, and got injured in the battle. Venom being the leader of Foxhound at the time. He managed to escape before the explosion hit, and Venom's disappearence back at base enforces this rumor. In MG2, the one who gets burned to death is Venom Snake. "Big Boss" fell into a coma, and wakes up during MGS4. Being burnt to a crisp, Solid Snake confirms that "Big Boss" is no more, and ends the witch hunt for Big Boss. The corpse that Liquid wants in MGS1 is Venom Snake, to check whether he's really dead.

Theres two ways of looking at it. 1.Big Boss as FoxHounds commander sends Solid Snake to stop the Outer Heaven uprising, whilst really still in contact with Venom Snake. He's really sending Solid on a suicide mission. Snakes his best soldier but still the inferior of the twins so believes Venom can handle it. Midway through Big Boss realises that Solid Snake will complete the mission so codecs him telling to abort the mission before Snake takes out Venom Snake. Its then revealed Snake has killed Big Boss(Venom), Solid Snake becomes a hero, fights The Patriots(unwillingly) and the Real Big Boss is forced into Plan B(Zanzibar Land) Or.. 2. Venom Snake becomes Mad. He goes against The Boss's will and becomes a serious nuclear threat. Big Boss sends Solid Snake in knowing if hes succesful it will compromise everything he's built. But Venom must be stopped. Snake takes out Venom Snake. Big Boss goes to Zanzibar Land knowing that with Snake killing Venom, The Patriots have the upper hand. Big Boss prepares, recruits Gray Fox again and prepares for HIS battle with Solid Snake.

My question is this: How could Big Boss establish Foxhound if he is still being hunted by everyone?

At 16:19 you can see why Kio Marv's name is Kio Marv. In the MSX bootscreen above it says the reversed: VRAM: 01K (Video RAM: 01 kilobyte). They turned more names around. Madnar is one of them. Randam Hajile is a character in Kojima's Snatcher. His name is Elijah Madnar in reverse. This Elijah is the son of the Madnar in the Metal Gear series.

What if when Big Boss contacted Snake to abort the mission(turn off the console on the NES) and then Snake refuses he then contacts Venom to tell him that he has to abort the mission, Venom who has a loyalty to Diamond Dogs enraged that he cant do anything to Solid Snake for the soldiers Snakes killed leads to the moment when Venom Snake smashes the mirror at the end of MGS5 angered at Big Boss for not allowing justice to the DDs. Solid Snake and Venom Snake both refuse forcing Big Boss to Zanzibar Land.

i just grabbed MGSV (was putting it off.. fucking konami) and have been watching this series to recap what i'd forgotten (haven't played since MGS3 sadly) and didn't realize this was a recent ongoing series hahaha i thought this was from last year not paying attention, but man you guys couldn't have timed it better hahah great series.

Let me tell you a plot story. MGS5 Phantom Pain, Venom Snake hit the mirror with a punch by understanding that he is a body double than he swore revenge to big boss and create outer heaven than he declare war to the real BigBoss. So the real big Boss send Grey Fox to break outer heaven but not goes well since venom snake it is a "copy" of bigboss than the rookie solid snake do the unthinkable and finish grey fox mission.Big Boss take the role of the only a the real big boss. Basically solid snake did big boss dirty works and that is why on MGS4 they spend that talk @ the boss (MGS3) grave.I think this should had been the next kojima "MGS6" this plot but mutch better. They need to remake the 2d classics of the two Metal Gear games and make them into a 3rd person view game. If only Kojima could do that before he left. They need to remake those two Metal Gear 1 and 2 classics that started it all and make it into amazing graphics but still keep the story that it had with those two games. The games of Metal Gear 1 and 2 are old but I should give them a try once I try and then beat MGS5TPP

I just don't understand that final boss fight against Big Boss in MGS2. While aiding Solid Snake with some useful advice via codec, Miller informs Snake that Big Boss had lost his right eye and some limbs in the first fight they had. If that was Venom Snake that he fought at first then doesn't that mean that Venom Snake was supposed to have both his eyes and missing limbs intact? Is this a big plot hole? Or did Venom snake implant a natural eye and natural arm around the Operation N313 incident to fight Solid Snake?

I have a doubt, if Venom did actually disarmed Diamond Dogs from nuclear weapons, why he had another Metal Gear hidden and made Solid Snake to destroy it and kill him? 🤔 I'm kinda confused, can someone help me Or was it the real Big Boss the one who knew Solid would kill Venom?

In my head canon, Venom survived the destruction of Outer Heaven. Yes, he was defeated by Solid Snake, and severely injured. Trapped under the rubble of Outer Heaven's explosion, he lay there bleeding out and too weak to move. Then the rubble shifted and was lifted away, revealing Quiet, who had watched over him for 11 years from afar. Since his role as Big Boss was completed, there was no need for him to continue playing the part. The mission was over. Quiet made her presence known once the real Big Boss was forced onto the world stage. She patched Venom up, and the two walked off into the sunset together, their ultimate fate unknown. Wishful thinking? Eh, perhaps. But then at the end of MGSV, it just says that Solid Snake kills Big Boss' PHANTOM. This could be interpreted a couple ways: 1. Solid Snake literally kills Venom Snake. The end. or 2. Solid Snake defeats Venom Snake and destroys Outer Heaven, thus forcing the real Big Boss onto the world stage. The "phantom" is no longer necessary, and so the ruse is destroyed. Venom Snake could then conceivably have survived the events of N313 with that interpretation, and free to live whatever life he chose. I prefer the latter, in all honesty. Venom suffered enough bullshit for Big Boss. Dude deserves a happy ending, of sorts.

Yo. It is mind boggling to see how Hideo Kojima created this franchise back in the late 80's, and weave the story so incredibly well after decades of further installments. But the most fucked up thing is after decades of his self as well as his teams dedication to this wonderful saga, we were left with a conclusion that was, to put it simply, lackluster in comparison to the rest of the series. Fuck you Konami.
