In part seven of our recap series for the Metal Gear franchise, we looked at the Tanker Incident and some of the events that took place during the Big Shell Incident, and left off when Iriquois Pliskin reveals that he is the real Solid Snake. In part eight, we will look at the remainder of Metal Gear Solid 2, including the climactic events of what came to be known as the Manhattan Incident.

Unfortunately, from what I know, Kojima is leaving Konami because he had a lot of strife. Though Konami has the power to continue making MG games, they will never be the same without Kojima... it's sad :(

From what I recall, Ocelot didn't retrieve the electromagnetic device from Fortune. If anything, he had it the whole time and was controlling it, it explains why none of the Marines were shooting at him, even though he was pretty much at close range when they were firing at him before he hijacked Ray. He even points at the device on his hip and says "This is the little gizmo". It also explains why knows so much about it.

Mgs2 is common metal gear storytelling, with twists, revelations, betrayals and covert actions. But MGS2 is literally an Metal Geat ons steroids, cocaine and caffeine. But still brilliant.

SHADOMEGA7569 sadly it is considered a spin off, though I personally consider it canon as it does seem as a fitting continuation after MGS4. Also, Jetstream Sam and Senator Armstrong were amazing bosses that truly tested your skill at the game
