Gamma plus Mark Bonilla absolutely killed it they were absolutely astounding! Forget the fact that they haven't played together in 30 years and they only have maybe an afternoon the day before the concert and the sound check to rehearse. Marc did Ronnie proud GAMMA did Ronnie proud!

I bought the first three gammas when they came out, and the montrose albums, open fire, and I gave the Edgar winter stuff, too. Love you Ronnie! RIP

Hannon just blew me away. I never knew he had it like that. Ready for action is one of my favorite Gamma tunes and he just nailed it. Ronnie may have died but the music he created will live on forever in the minds and hearts of his family, friends and fans.

Marc Bonilla, a Ronnie financed protege' is on guitar here for the ENTIRE GAMMA set, NOT Frank Hannon, who played later at this Ronnie Tribute both with Tesla and on Frankenstein as part of The Ronnie Montrose All Stars.

@@dylanchangedeverythingfore1312 Thank you for the clarification. He obviously really digs Gamma. He looks like he grew up listening to Gamma judging from the way he played. I think he has been playing these songs for a long time. Gonna go find the video with Hannon and see what it is all about.

GAMMA w/Marc Bonilla were really feelin it onstage playing their hearts out and a**es off for Ronnie here on READY FOR ACTION! Its neat to watch the ESP-like looks, glances+smiles GAMMA send to each other during the set. They were feelin' it, the crowd was feelin it+ both were feeding off each other's energy! After "READY FOR ACTION", Davey Pattison is so into it he yells "AHH YEAH!" and "I remember ya like that one, dontcha!" or something to that effect. Marc Bonilla, Ronnie's protégé, is REALLY into it, and like the rest of GAMMA, did Ronnie proud at RONNIE FEST "A Concert For Ronnie Montrose" tribute which took place exactly 5 years ago today on April 27, 2012 at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco! RONNIE was a rock n roll Miles Davis, not just in his bold, fearless, musical stylistic shifts and leaps of faith, but in the way Ronnie had an indefinable instinct eye+ear for talent-- discovering + bringing in new musicians into his bands who would later go on to forge their own great paths + careers. This according to one of the musicians on the extras bonus disc on the "Concert For Ronnie Montrose" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p9-WiLGSxKuWd30.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p9-WiLGSxKuWd30.html
