While at Tokyo Autosalon we met up with the guys from Garage Active to check out their wide body R32 and R33 and discuss bringing them to Australia

THIS IS A PROPER WIDE BODY KIT. None of that bolted on, over-fender Liberty Walk / Rocket Bunny bullcrap. Notice how the kit accuentuates the cars natural lines and doesn't just steamroll over them and impose it's own lines. WELL DONE GARAGE ACTIVE

Definitely the best looking widebody kits ever built, as a purist it ticks all my boxes. Fuark me those are stunning and I love that they added air suspension too so that they can slam them when parked! im nutting so hard!

I don't understand why people hate on R33s. They look awesome as well. All three R32 R33 R34 look very different to me and have both cons and pros. Awesome cars.

The wide bodies look amazing! And there is something about the engine bay which looks, I want to say Mechanically Right. Its not show car flashy, its purposeful and race car clean. I'm just rabbiting on now, but love them.

Alex G. There will probably be very few people that will want to hack on a factory r34 body given the crazy prices. But if you got one.. youre pretty much rich enough to not care lol. Handful would, but not as many.. definately would be sick though.

Was ol mates seat bolted in? LoL Bewdy. Im gunna take a look see at their site right now, I have been looking for proper CF dash panels and interior bits for ages. Spray on Suede stuff on top of dash with dash panels in satin finish CF and high gloss piano black paint. Now I just need to find some SSR Integral GT1’s in the correct size and offset.... Taken me 5 years to find a set of too skinny ones with wrong offset. Cant rush these things I guess

I'm glad this kit is available and I'm sure this will appeal to a lot of people but IMO it will only be bought by show ponies which for me goes against everything GTRs are about.

@@MotiveVideo Who am I to argue mate. You've done more for the GTR scene than most. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I just hope it's more performance orientated. Shiny paint and rubber band tyres don't really say to me speed is the priority. Keep up the good work.

Probably around 1300kg for r32 and r33 is probably around 1400kg

Sadie Adler it’s not a trend. It’s been around a long time now. Racecars been doing it to fit wider tyres so can go faster for a long time. That’s the original point of it. Wider tyres for more grip.
