I love it when people are this transparent about what they spend etc. Garage looks A1, Deffo added value to the property, even for non petrol heads there's loads of things you could use that space for. 👍👍

To be honest you’re adding value to your property and the next owner may turn it into an office/gym etc.

Nice breakdown. I built a cabin/bar during covid with hot tub, log burner, fully insulated, wifi, plumbing, toilet/shower etc, learned a lot of skills. Building the main house now, think I'm gonna concentrate on the integrale bedroom first. I planned for electric roller door as I have patio windows at the back of it facing the back garden but now thinking about bi-folding main entrance door instead. The integrale room, is joined to the main living room, the wall between has a log burner in the middle with two single patio doors either side so you can look at the car from the road, the back garden or the living room haha!!!

Hi Adam loving the garage mate ,just a few things I think you should do ,1st get 2 very study pull up bollards fitted just inside your roller shutter and another one outside, bit of a faff but security is a must .2nd get a very decent 4k cctv system fitted cameras inside outside and also one outside that covers the garage door area 3rdly an alarm. People know whats in your garage, so it makes sense to go beyond what you would normally need .keep up the great work mate 👍.

Garage is looking mint fella👍🏻I’m in the trade and a good rule of thumb to work to is, how much you think it’s going to cost and double it. So using that you were about on budget🤣🤣

Looks great- I was thinking £17-20k so pretty much bang in the middle 😉 My garage is 9m long single garage door but opens to a double garage at the back- could extend it another 8-10m if I wanted but love it as it is- looks great mate

It soon adds up. My 6m x 6m double blockwork with electric roller shutter etc and quality roof was bang on £8k. Did it over lockdown. Worth every single penny.

How and earth did you get them French Doors and roller doors so cheap. For a similar size roller door the best I can get quoted is £1700 and French doors £1100.

Looks awesome matey, would probs be worth getting some cctv installed aswell. Also some retractable bollards might be an idea for some extra security/deterrent.

You got a lot of that done cheap mate, I’ve been in the game 34 years and that seems very reasonable to me

Bargain price, especially as you paid a lot of contractors to do the work for you. I built a 30sqm double garage myself last year from Timber and that cost me 13k all in. Cheaper up north it seems :-)

Getting rid of the concrete floor was a bit steep they get a free tip so it would have been diesel and the labour for them good wages

Every project rolls over the budget but what a cave you've got looking at the side profile of your cars through the window from the house is worth every penny..........

good price i reckon, having been there myself, theres quite a bit of odds + sods + they soon mount up, insulation is a fortune at min.

That place will be incredible once the motoring Paraphernalia, sound system and bar are installed 🤙
