GT-R specialist Kozo Yoshida from Garage Yoshida started his career at a Nissan dealership. But when he found out that they don't actually repair and build engines at dealerships, he immediately quit. #skylinegtr #nissan #TUNERCLUB
Garage Yoshida is in the hills of Nara prefecture an 8 hour drive from Tokyo. But clients like Autech, Mine's and Built by Legends send their cars from afar to get work done on their GT-Rs from full restorations to partial work like chassis and paint.
In this renewed inaugural Season 4 episode of Tuner Club, we sit down with Yoshida-san to learn his roots and his passion towards the Nissan Skyline GT-R.

He is other half of the build by legend team the other one is Yasukichi Yamamoto of Opera performance ex super tykyu race car driver who drove the famous gather drider honda civic type r ek9 who is currently working alongside spoon sport/type one Honda civic sir eg6 he did custom fabrication work on the car

When he says that he a certified mechanic, it shock me to question myself. I have been working more than a year as a car mechanic. TBH, i did not enjoyed my work as i find my work as a chore, doing repeat stuff. Only after watching this vid, i find new meaning to my work. I should just focus on the work and not be distracted by politics at work or my manager constantly looking over while we doing our work like he about to eat us. Thank you for making this video.

Always loved listening any passionate automotive person from Japan explaining and sharing their story. Im not saying there are no great craftsmanship or quality from another country. But when you listen to Japanese, they always highlighted about the importance of doing something in the most humble and respectful way. Their passion and attitude is something we always get to jealous.

Doing what this guy is doing is pure-ism ! I did this with Ducati motorcycle and had complete knowledge on everything on then and where the parts went. There is no better way to live life, this guy those is in JAPAN !!! Right we’re all the pieces he needs are. Love what he is doing, much respect to him. He is also one of a kind restoration builders that uses Electro-deposition to rebuild the iron and steel of rusted areas and strengthen them beyond original specs without replacement, wielding or new metal plates overlaps. Which many restoration gurus does not do.

Car: ’05 Nissan Silvia S15 Engine: SR20 Driver: Muhammed Ali allahu akbar 1/4 Best ET: 6.228 @ 226.81 MPH Track: Orlando Speed World Date: Oct 27, 2018 Status: Active The driver of this Nissan S15 is Muhammad Ali, and his ride is the quickest and fastest SR20-powered ride on the planet. He has some badass people helping him make things happen and he does a great job behind the wheel as well. MazWorx built and tuned the chassis to the SR20, which cranked out over 1,800 horsepower on the dyno at 60 pounds of boost. Legendary tuning guru Shane Tecklenburg handles the tuning of the car and you can tell it’s got his stamp all over it, running both ridiculously quick and consistent, which shows the tune is near perfect and they aren’t just taking stabs at the parameters to see what works. Anybody who knows anything about Shane T knows his rides are consistently quick like this and shatter records regularly, proof that he’s the man in the tuning world. The numbers the car puts up at almost perfectly on par with NHRA Pro Stock, allowing me the opportunity to make a comparison between the drastically different combinations. Pro Stock rules, as most of you know, mandate naturally aspirated powerplants, while this SR20 is crammed with almost 70 pounds of boost at speed on the track. Of course, it has half of the cylinders of the 500 CID V8 under the hood of a Pro Stocker, which makes around 1,500 horsepower. So how does the Pro Stocker run the same ET with less horsepower? The answer is contained within the interview with Mark from MazWorx, who talks about the chassis. See if you guys can determine the difference and let us know what you think.

This makes me miss my BCNR33 so much. I'd love to be able to track it down and get it back. My MK7R is ok, but it's nothing compared to a GTR. I think that after owning a GTR as a daily, nothing will compete with it. I keep looking at the R35GTR, but it's not the same since it stopped being a Skyline.
