Excellent work done by all, especially on what looks to be hot conditions. Particular mention and credit to the Senior Drum Major Gareth Chambers in his expert assessments that the pace is made manageable for the less able who are following on behind, very well done. Credit also to the person/persons who chose the march list to reflect same. Thank you for sharing this super video that captures the splendid sights and sounds so well.👍

How is it possible to play the Royal Fireworks Music so slowly ! It's terrible. Anyhow a very beautiful procession. God save the King, the Queen and all he princes. Greetins from Belgium.

Slow march or speedy march, they are always stunning!! Well done, Captain Gareth Chambers, perfect direction as ever❤

Gareth Chambers is not a Captain, he is a WO2 and a drum major.

Thanks for correction, but I read in most videos "Captain". What's WO2? Sorry, i am not english. Thank you, sir.

What is the piece played at 6:18?
@MikeM14-40Ай бұрын
David, it sounds like an arrangement of "Fanfare and Flourishes" by James Curnow. Probably at a slightly slower speed, and down about a fourth in pitch.

And the piece played at 6:53 ?
@MikeM14-40Ай бұрын
@@spes1718 Hi, I think it's "Golden Spurs" march, composed by Sam Rhodes, often played by the Band of the Household Cavalry but it doesn't look as if they're playing it here. But probably best you double-check my answer!
@daviddumbraveanu589Ай бұрын
@@MikeM14-40 Yes, It wasn't played by the Band of the Household Cavalry. It was played by the Band of the Grenadier Guards.
