Personally feel that as a guitarist, Gary was the Greatest of all Time. I wouldnt have picked the guitar up if it wasnt for the album Still Got the Blues. He is greatly missed.

He might have been supporting Whitesnake but he sure had the coollest bassist in Cass Lewis! Awesome guitar man...saw him play 3 times in an 18 month purple patch for me. Sometimes he was better than others - but never bad! The very first time was when he had G Force back in the 80's and he was supporting (the best version of) Whitesnake back then. RIP. Still sorely missed! There will never be another like him.....

Gary was a guitar genius. He could play many genres of music at an unbelievable level. Are you only a genius if you compose a great song. I don't think so. I love Pagey and can appreciate Blackmore, sorry but neither are up to Gary's standard on a six string..fact !
