For those that may be just finding this, go to Harbor Freight and get a set of transfer punches to mark the upper holes. Use 1/8", 1/4". and finally 3/8" bits; makes it a lot easier on the drill. Like the man says, sharp bits make all the difference!

the ford 9 was made for the gbody (which i hooked my bro up with it for his el co project), the brakes are c6 z06, the Versailles is an ok option though and can be setup for the gbody very easily... there were some advantages in using the aftermarket housing for me, compared to that one. you can find the disc/disc valve on several cars in the yard, or to be safe, you can either modify your current one, or buy it online from anywhere around $25-up and in chrome, etc.

i learned more on your video than the stuff my mechanic know about brakes.lol

you know you can pick up a memory card at walmart from 9-13 bucks starting at 2gb up to 16gb.they are cheap for what you need them for.i got a 8gb for $10.gives me 35 min of hd and lil over an hour for reg. rec.Enjoyed this vid very informational.

cool, if you have the other style flange, the one that is square already with 4 bolt holes, it will prob bolt right up, no cutting, etc. I am trying to find a rear housing like that so that i can do quicker vids on that too... it should bolt right up!

thanks... yeh this silly camera has a "pro duo memory stick" or something like that so its a little more expensive and harder to find, ordered one though so on its way... and making due with uploading onto computer every so often, but it is aggravating... lol

awesome vids man! you need to use a variable speed drill and run it much much slower..I use wd40 for lube and usually works really well..most of my craftsman bits still work great after years of use.. I'm gonna try that drill doctor though that's cool! do you know which 12 bolts fit in the g body without moving the spring / mounts?

I believe some aftermarket 15" rims may work, but off the top of my head, I wanna say 16" or larger wheel... the 98-02 Maro has 16" stocks... i have some 15" blazer wheels, i will throw them on the rear and see what hits etc. what do you mean by and y would you drill the holes on the rotor out bigger???

What ford 9 inch do you have for the g-body? Also what are you using for the brake proportioning valve with the disc brake set-up? I have the Lincoln Versailles 9 inch ford with disc brakes which is the right width for g-bodys, but need to weld on the brackets for the g-body.
