The filter has those tabs for a reason…you lock filter into position first THEN put the clear cover on and lock down with handle…used this system for 3 years now…Love it

Have you had any issues with water pressure after it was installed? I've noticed a significant decrease, especially when two or more shower+faucet are running.

The water filters will slightly reduce water pressure in your home. If your home has a well pump. You could increase your pump pressure to help fight the pressure loss. If you noticed a major pressure loss your filters are clogged and need changing. Hope this helps.

Do you install the filter to the cold water line or to the water line coming directly into the house?

You want to install it on the waterline that comes in directly into the house.

You can get some foam board pink or blue 2” thick and build a box around your water filter system. That should help

Installed this unit today. However, the water filter canister is not filling up with water. There is water flowing inside my house from the kitchen sink in the shower. Why is there no water being filled up in the canister?

🤔sounds like your filter is in bypass mode. In bypass mode the filter is not used. Double check to see what mode your filter is in.

What does it filter? Sediment, carbon, etc.?

Yes, it filters sediment and the filter is a carbon filter. That also helps with the taste and smell of the water.

I have a problem.... My water doesnt flo when its turned all the way to the right on filter... It only flows when its on bypass what can i do to trouble shoot it

Very disappointed by the shark bite style fittings on this. NPT would have been much more manageable system.

I agree, I wasn’t a fan of the shark bite system too. I like the design of everything else on it. But, one bad seal would make this system useless. But it easier to replace when it breaks 😆

Dude, you didn't show how to change it after it was pressurized. Not Sold.

Sorry dude, I forgot to mention how to de pressurize the system when charged. You turn the main water supply off, then you push the de pressurize valve button on the unit. Or you can open a sink faucet to let the pressure water out. Then remove the old filter and reinstall new filter and turn the water back on, my bad
