After ages of searching I finally got a GEC! I absolutely love it.

The wise old owl is presumably called Howard after GEC’s founder, Bill Howard

Another new knife for us to indulge in. We currently carry a Norwood (2 blades) pass down from our grandfather. After all those years of usage it still wants to cut. White Owl will be on the Xmas list. Cheers mate.

Great video!!pretty new to your channel but love you’re videos..my first gec was a 94 liberty which is too small to me to carry but have since gotten a bayou trapper and carry it almost everyday..there’s so many patterns I would like to try but like you said the secondary market kills you and I can never get in on drops

I’m almost at the end, but your bit about the Canadian knife makers reminds me, I need a Canadian l knife. I’m going to get one of my cousins on it!

I thought Grohmann shipped to the UK. I suppose I was wrong, as Ian Rosie pointed out. I HIGHLY recommend Grohmann's Slimline in Rosewood. Or, the Stag variation at a higher price. They also have a two-blade version. (Dual clip-points!) Plus, you can buy seconds at 50% off! The seconds just have slight imperfections in the handles.

Make a video? That often starts things up again! Try either a Grohmann knife or a Sheffield knife. (Just some ideas!)

I’ve only 4 GECs, as I don’t collect GECs, but none are Un-X-Ld. it’s a shame, because I like shiny! Still, I have to keep reminding myself that I don’t collect American knives!

Maybe skip an extra TEW Barlow for a nice White Owl. The Northfields are like Eye Witness' Premier Collection! (Minus the file-work).

Look on the Apostle P KZfaq. Every Thursday night he has a knife sale. There’s usually about 30 knives for sale, and at least half a dozen will be GECs, like new in box, at very reasonable prices (for GEC). Very reliable seller too. I’ve bought at least 7 knives off him, only one GEC!
