Fulfill your nefarious plans! In this week’s Game the Game our players take on Overlords of Infamy by Obscure Reference Games. In this resource management style game, Becca Scott, Poisal, Amy Vorphal, and Ivan Van Norman take on the roles of evil overlords to make the local subjects as miserable as possible!

He was talking about a stuffed doll at the time. I'd say "sentient" is an adequate upgrade under those circumstances. Still, you're not wrong about sentience, but then you need to include plants, fungi, forests, mountains, lakes, etc to the category of "sentient." Whether "sapient" is an upgrade or downgrade from that remains to be seen, depending on whether you get life off this rock and into the greater cosmos where it belongs -- thumbs, writing, metallurgy, crazy curiosity... yep, that's the job.

@@animistchannel2983 Yeah, the correct technical definition for "Sapience" is the ability to inflect on the nature of the universe is only understood in "European/Western" Religious Thought is reserved for Humans and "gods". While "Sentience" can be ascribed as the ability to be aware of their immediate surrounding in the most vague sense.

music is a tad on the loud side... like... its on par with everyone annunciating their words when they aren't like when they are looking down its really tough to hear what they are saying.

9:12 ._. had to listen thrice to confirm that she wasn't saying what I heard :D I'm from Germany and it never occurred to me that English speaking folk might pronounce it like that. Then again I'm from Itzehoe (literally pronounced like "It's a h*e").

Yeah, German has a few sounds that are difficult to interpret and even pronounce; "ch" being one of them. Just like in English the "th" is difficult for Germans.

Yes this was a very bad video....not only irritating accents but an insistence that ich liebe dich (sp?) is pronounced with ich and dich sounding like sick rather than like dish...coupled with some other brain-dead moments I think the American education system must be sorely lacking

@@skyblazeeterno in Hochdeutsch "ich" is actually closer to a hard "k" sound - there is obviously more subtlety to it than that, which doesn't come naturally to most english speakers, however the "SH" sound is a specific dialect, not the proper way of pronouncing

First of all this is really generalized and second of all she even said that she knows that it isn't really pronounced like that. Doesn't mean it's a bad video. A bit cringy and confusing, but that was to be expected because this series always is. Don't mean to to offend just don't want to make clear that I don't share your opinion. (sorry for my grammar and stuff, as you might have guessed I'm from germany and don't expect others to be flawless in foreign languages ;) )

Good catch, but actually she did it correctly! You can send a Lackey out if you recalled it that turn. However, you cannot call a Lackey back that you sent out that turn.

Yep! Frau Lumberwulf's ability - Nature Sense: The first time each turn that Frau Lumberwulf Exploits the Land, she must look at the top 3 Map Tiles. She then chooses 2 Map Tiles to place in her Zone of Influence and places the unchosen Map Tile at the bottom of the stack.

2 years ago Amy was almost a fearful wreck. Now she's relaxed and confident. What happened in the last 2 years? Did you finally see behind the curtain of reality, or is it just GM'ing experience, or is there a difference after all?

@xragg They* not he Poisal is non binary they are a member of The Uncommon Trust an RPG group that includes Sam de Leve (tbd the rpg, shield of tomorrow, Callisto 6) and B Dave Walters (seriously he's been on every show G&S has at one point or another save weave society but also plays Victor on LA by Night)
