@@GeekoutdoorsBrand If I may ask, you mentioned about adding additional Chroma Key effects to an image to further clean up an image of a green screen. Is this the extent of fine tuning this process with this program? I think my problem was uneven lighting to start off with. I'm sure it would help out tremendously if I improved upon that. Thanks again!

Yes you can definitely fine tune it although I feel that Openshot doesn't give you the most options versus something like Shotcut. I did a Green Screen tutorial for that as well if you're interested: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b9OJf5ZkldebqWw.html

what if there is a section in the screen where the subject doesnt go over and this section has a pesky item that cannot be chroma'd away. Is there a way to make that section transparent for the whole duration? Sort of a mask/matte that other programs use?

I don't know of an easy way to do that espeically if there's motion with the area that is difficult to chroma out 🤔

In most cases, the effects will affect the entire video/clip.

Hmmm that's really odd. Maybe try a different green screen clip and if you're still having tissues, then I'm not sure myself.

what can you try if you follow all the steps and it doesnt remove anything. Clip show a c, i picked the key color from screen. Hit play and nothing happens. I am trying to leave the background clear. With no second image under it. Is that even possible. ?
