Do you love text in Art? Then this video is for you! A detailed video offering you loads of ideas for transferring text using your gel plate.

I kind of throw everything at a few example pieces but you can, of course, use any of these techniques in isolation.

I have been watching KZfaq videos on Gelli plate printing for months and until yesterday it had never suggested one of your videos. After watching the Matisse video, I immediately subscribed and dove head first into your past videos. Your videos are by far the best Gelli printing videos I have seen, I have leaned so much in just a few hours. Do you have any idea how much work it takes to create an art book and how little the royalties are unless you sell millions of them? Better to donate to him here. Then people would want a video of the techniques.

I know a Yorkshire artist does one online pre-recorded/live class per year, charges £885 and has 950 students in it. Do the math. Or, do a series of shorts, put them on your web site and charge 50 quid for a series of 3. I think you'd be shocked at your income.

I collected lots of letters and numbers today from telegraph poles, manhole covers etc. I've only had time for a quick attempt at transferring them so far but it did work!

WOW!! This is a game changer!!! I've never seen text on gel prints!!! I'm VERY new to gel printing. Pull my 1st ever print yesterday! And couldn't stop all day. Got up at night for a drink of water and had to pull a print! It's addicting. Thank you for a great video. I especially love the telephone pole #'s!! And the sewer plate "WATER"! They look great. I'll be looking for text I can get rub-offs from! TFS. Austin TX USA

Omg I have just lost me whole morning sEriously never enjoyed binging videos as much as I have today.. you really have a talent worth bottling.. I have to say my mind is in overdrive I’ve been having a little rest from my art and not a needed or wanted rest either and it’s begun to annoy me cause here in aus we had some torrential rain and the concrete in my art space is not sealed so I been dealing with moisture and mould and I’m so over that process I just wanna create. but wow you have inspired me to finish putting everything back in my art room and get back into my experimenting phase which with the last few hours of your brilliant tutorials I will have no problem doing. especially clicked with the procreate tut on stencil making that’s a must and me gel plate has been placed on me clean desk ready to create a wild mess with text in me prints woohoo and numbers hoping me brother turns up on his bike so I can get a rubbing off his Harley not likely he will let that happen lol in the mean time the wheels of me little car will do for a textured start lol I can see a big night ahead thanks Thank-you thank you thankyou a whole bunch of em. I think you just transported me into another realm of art I have the jitters in such a good way lol

HI Glaucia - thank you for the lovely message : ) x. Have you tried selecting subtitles and then auto translate to portuguese? Auto translate is found in the settings icon. Please try and let me know what the quality of tranlsation is like - I use this function for videos by a german lady I like.

These techniques are really exciting. I'm curious about applying the print directly to a t-shirt. One comment mentioned if you add fabric medium to the pant and iron after, it should be colorfast. If love to see you give it a go

perhaps you have already thought of this but print some tissue paper using all of these technicians then use them as collage pieces, I love this work you are making and demos are clear and concise again congrats, cheers!
