I think it would be cool if they designed it to where you didn’t see the actual light/bulb. Awesome job awesome channel 🍻

I thought the same thing, but when you don't see the lights, it doesn't look as good. You can't see the source of the light which really adds to the affects.

@@aklighting8292 Adam do you have a trick how to tone down/dim spotlights? All my path lights and spot lights are on one run, the spotlight and path lights at the house turned out perfect but I’m trying to highlight a few Saguaros(cactus) in the yard and the lowest lumen lights I could find are still to bright. Thanks 🍻

Hi Adam Awesome lights , so technically this lights can be installed on the front of the front of the fascia , it will be more visible in the morning but it will be showing better from every angle , what’s your thoughts

I'm not a fan of the dots of light on the outside of the front of a house. Maybe in the back area it would be okay but I'm more of a wash of light kind of girl. They were beautifully mounted though! Thanks for the video! It's always good to know what's out on the market.

You can select individual emitters, illuminate just the corners, the eaves, etc. Down wash over the garage, key architectural features, etc. Ours are installed behind the fascia board so the individual emitters are hidden from direct view.

I love this concept and I'm definitely in the market to do it, but I cringed when you said you ran the power up the downspout... Maybe because I live in Colorado, but cleaning out and replacing downspouts is a regular chore. No matter the location, I just can't imagine running power to a permanent fixture through a somewhat disposable utility. Hell, even painting a house a different color often includes new gutters. Just my two cents on an otherwise nice job.

Everyone has their own preference. Some people think its looks like Christmas/casino light, and many other absolutely love it. Find whatever you love and go with that.

Why use audio cable rather than the traditional landscape cable? New guy to the industry

Great question. I guess a three reasons come to mind. 1. The audio cable is easier to use and doesn't get tangled or caught on things. 2. The audio cable has color coated wires. If you mix them up the system won't work. 3. I don't think landscape wire is "certified", or whatever that term is, for anything other than direct burial.
