I’m 32, happily married and have a 2.5 year old babygirl. ( for disclaimer lol) However, this video was so good to see, because when I was in my 20’s I wish there was more of this online for girls in general. My mom ALWAYS stressed on my sisters and I that valuing yourself/body and having self worth ( aka not sleeping around) was so powerful as a woman. As someone who just went through a breakup, thank you for this, Genelle. 💖 I love how u emphasize on the feeling this person gives YOU by doing/saying something rather than putting the focus on THEM. Instead of asking yourself "Why do they follow other girls on ig, do they not like me enough?" --> "They are doing this and I don't like it so I'm leaving". Controlling your thoughts in that way is going to save you so much time and heartbreak. If you leave it up to them to explain themselves, you're giving them the opportunity to have the last word / control you. Always put yourself first when you notice something is off! Girls- if someone is crossing your boundaries/ non-negotiables, don't leave it up to them to explain themselves. Their actions show you their true colors, trust me. Just "LET THEM". Just lean back and let them show you, who they are. Then, you get to decide if this person is for you or not. Don't try to adjust them to your liking because they're their own person. Stop creating a false version of them in your head. Men show you how they feel about you with their actions. If their values don't align with yours, there's 100% a better match for you out there. I get that we're all growing and learning our whole lives, no man you meet is going to be perfect for you. There are so many things that you guys will have to work through in order for the relationship to flourish and become long lasting. But if it's basic respect they're lacking or you start noticing certain patterns in their behavior that are causing you to overthink- leave.

Also- us women are gifted with such a strong intuition. If you're truly detached from everything and deeply connected to yourself, you are going to feel when your energies don't align. Let's use our gift wisely and not let any dusty men disrupt our peace 🩷

Ive found that one requires far less boundary setting when one becomes very picky. Too many people hate their ex's for this reason. Visionboarding also = far less grief because it was something that you wanted to experience rather than a "convienience" which most relationships are i think. Hence regret. Im yet to meet a person who has zero regrets like me in dating. Love isnt a on off switch either, one of my ex's taught me that one!
