Welcome to this soothing body scan meditation for sleep. This guided body scan meditation is long and drawn out with a beautiful soft female voice to lull you into sleep.
Prepare your body for sleep by mindfully and systematically releasing tension from your body. Starting from your head down to your toes.
This body scan is a great introduction to mindfulness techniques. It can help you get a good night’s rest for a better day. A body scan helps to shift focus away from your busy mind and back to your body. Back to basics.
Getting plenty of sleep is one of the factors that protect you from stress and protects your gut health. But you have to feel safe and supported before restful sleep. That’s where this guided meditation comes in.

I research, write, narrate and edit free Guided Meditation videos for people who are suffering with chronic illnesses. This video is sooo enjoyable and effective! I love the way you focus on facial muscles. For me, facial muscles are the key to relaxation and sleep. I also love how the sound effects are barely audible and not intrusive. Your videos are incredibly helpful. You have a sweet voice and a lovely accent, and you say all the right things because your methods are based on sound psychology. You have obviously done your research and put a lot of thought into your videos. You are making life more bearable for thousands of people.

I just found you yesterday and absolutely loved the two meditations I’ve heard. Your kind voice and the wonderful quality and scripting are so appreciated. Maybe it was just a fluke, but after the sleep meditation ended, (and yes, I was asleep, thank you!) I was awakened by a very loud ad. So for now I won’t do the sleep meditations but will try others. I just thought you would want to know. But I have enjoyed your good work-much gratitude. 💕

I'm so glad that I found your meditations Clare. Last night I tried this meditation before sleep and after the meditation I was totally released. I read it also in other comments and for sure, you have the right voice for this meditations. I think the sound of the ocean was too loud and the audio needed a long fade-out, rather than an abrupt halt. Your voice is always pleasant & relaxing though.

What’s with the abrupt cut off between voice and water sounds? 😂 it’s catching my attention every 3 seconds and a weirdly harsh detail for something that should sooth and flow.
