This healing sleep meditation is very special. It is a guided sleep meditation to heal digestive issues while resting at night. And can easily be added to your bedtime routine to help you fall asleep and stay asleep while your body regenerates and recuperates.

Like all meditations on Generation Calm, it is written, performed and edited by me, Clare, using my relaxing female voice.
Special care has been taken to include a full body scan, suggestions that you can believe you are a good sleeper, emotional-release and a calming guided visualization.
Having trouble falling asleep or waking up at night and having difficulty falling back to sleep is really frustrating. And stressful events can add to the pressure of wanting to fall asleep but not being able to. It’s annoying because stress triggers insomnia and then lack of sleep increases stress and anxiety. And on top of all that your gut microbiome needs you to sleep well in order to function at an optimal level.
So there are three things that you need for a good night’s sleep:
• finding a way to manage stress.
• getting into to good sleep routine.
• a healthy gut microbiome.
And relaxation exercises are really effective at dealing with all of these. Using this guided sleep meditation regularly can help you be in control of falling asleep.

Hey everyone. This is so helpful thanks to Claire ❤. Can I please share that it’s important to get everything checked out as well as working on mind-body tools; hypnosis is great! I also recommend that anyone suffering from ongoing IBS, GERD etc gets tested for parasitology and helichobacter pylori, even if you have to go private. I suffered for 20 years with an IBS diagnosis and only just recently got diagnosed with the above ! X

@shanicethomas7259 I go to the gym five days a week, and go on 6km walks on the other two days if I have the time. I drink plenty of water, and apple cider vinegar makes me sick. I appreciate that you mean well, but please don't give out unsolicited advice when you know nothing about my lifestyle, or chronic health issues

Sounds strange but try squeezing lemon in warm water 🙏🏻 or baking soda. Both work for me

This helps me especially with bowel movements and helps to loosen the tightness in the diaphragm 😢I have suffered with endometriosis for 35 years and the scar tissue is everywhere... I just know it and hopefully the doctors will see that I am right 👍

I have Gastroparesis and Gastric emptying issues, I've been on a medication all year that's totally paralyzed my gut. I'm off it now but I'm in so much pain trying to get things moving. Thank you

What kind of bug if you don’t mind me asking. I’ve been dealing with stomach issues for a month now. And doctors can’t find anything through ct scans and ultrasounds and blood tests

I was recently diagnosed with GERD and this caused me to have a panic attack (because of the shortness of breath). The doctor told me I needed to help myself because only I can calm myself down. Thank you so much for this.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. GERD is a 'stress-sensitive' health issue, so you may notice it flare up when you're feeling particularly stressed. But adding some quiet, down time is a really helpful way to help yourself, even if that time is only available at night. Glad you stumbled across my video.

You deserve so many subscribers! 🙂 I've been using your channel for over a year + and every stomach meditation you come out with is phenomenal. I seriously cannot thank you enough! I wish I could tell you in person how much you have helped me because you truly are a life savor. Your voice is peaceful and relaxing and you know just what to say and exactly how to say it to get me into a deep and relaxed state like never before. Unfortunately, I suffer from several terrible stomach conditions and yesterday, I got back from the emergency room with an embarrassing situation and have been backed up for almost a week!! They gave me special medication to use and this session, has made the whole situation much more easier for me. You have literally saved me from many uncomfortable and painful stomach conditions so many times. I love this channel so much. Please never stop making these stomach, anxiety/stress, IBS, digestion meditations because you are helping people. @@sarahmcstay6879 I'm sorry to hear about your chronic pain. It may be worth speaking to your doctor about a pain management referral. There are teams in many towns and cities that can help you cope with the physical and mental aspects of pain. They've often got medical staff, physical therapists and psychologists. who all use their expertise to help with chronic pain.

Thank you ive been having anxiety attacks every night usually ur videos help but sometimes they don’t, if my anxiety gets really bad I need to start going to therapy and learn other ways to cope and deal with anxiety

I think that's a great idea! Therapy doesn't even need to last for months on end, it might be helpful, like you say, to get some support and coping strategies. In the meantime, if it's not too much pressure, try journaling before bedtime, get those thoughts out on paper before they spiral out of control. If nothing else, it'll be easier to speak to a therapist once you've figured out what thoughts are causing you anxiety at night.

Hello may I ask what your symptoms were? I’ve had stomach problems for a month now occasional bloating and aching in right side. Ultrasound found that I had a contracted gallbladder but no stones or sludge. I’m so lost and confused

Please help meee please my stomach is so stressed and i feel like i make noises and it’s constantly, i feel like dying I don’t even want to attend my classes since i feel like i make loud noises and rumbles of my stomach please help me it’s been a year and someone suggested hypnotherapy but unfortunately they’re not available in iraq my country so please please help me :)

These meditation by Claire helps a lot. She also has others in her channel. Another that is very helpful for me is the one for Gerd and Acid Reflux. I guarantee you if you listen to it (and others similar) every day for a few weeks you'll feel better.

It's such a difficult situation for you. Because GERD can interrupt your sleep and then lack of sleep causes more stress and aggravates IBS. I hope the meditations help a little. I borrowed a book from the library called The Acid Watcher Cookbook and it really helped me understand how what I was eating aggravated my GERD symptoms. It might be worth looking into.

Those bird sounds are so annoying. You don't have to be so experimental. Just simple, relaxing background music is what is called for in meditation / relaxation videos. Thank you.

Woulda been way nicer if after about 20 mins the voice had stopped. This meditation and its music always helps me calm down enough to fall asleep but then the speaking would always wake me up....

This would be better if the background noise was more sleep inducing and not birds / crickets. But otherwise it sounds like it would be lovely & helpful.

I have a horrible so painful IBS attack. The only drug that ever helped me (and I’ve been getting IBS for 40 years is Valium. Try to find a doctor today in 2023 who will write a Valium script. No one does. I’m left with dicyclomine - does not help when I am so sick & debilitated. Is there a strain of marijuana that helps?
