Obožavam Hrvatsku, tamo me zovu Srećko! Studirao sam u Zagrebu prije više od 20 godina i na kraju sam osjetio da sam Zagrebčanin. Putovao sam natrag u 2015 za odmor i ostao u Puli, plovio na Jadranskom moru za 3 dana s hrvatskim prijateljima i otišao u prekrasnim Plitvicke jezera. Nedostaje mi Hrvatska i njezini divni ljudi. Bok I živjeli!!

Turkish players showed great sportsmanship after that match in 2008...also showed great spirit earlier in that tournament,quite amazing actually...so a lot of respect for Turkey football team and I am hoping for another great result in the away match with France as well

So funny to watch this years later having visited Croatia in the last year. The bridge that "plans were scrapped" for is now finished and I believe it's set to open soon. I still had to go through the Neum corridor with its passport checks but I could see the bridge from the bus. Was pretty cool. Oh, and Zagreb is super underrated. Great town.

I’m from Czech Republic and almost every Czech person visited Croatia. I’m not kidding. I have visited Croatia seven times already and I’m only 15. Also our turtle is from Croatia :D We didn´t steal her.....you know, it’s a pretty long time, just forget it. I did not say always. And I would never bring up the nazis for a German today simply because it was a long time ago and he is obviously not responsible any more for it than you or I... But if you insist on going back centuries... I think our relations have been relatively good, especially if i compare to some of our other neighbours (looking east and north)...

Od moje druge do četrnaeste godine svake smo godine isli u odmaraliste od mamine firme u Novigrad u Istri.Najljepse uspomene iz djetinjstva.Kasnije sam biu svuda po Hrvatskoj.Iako smo 1991 postali suverene in nezavisne drzave,nikad nisam imao osjecaj,da ulazim u stranu drzavu.Uvijek navijam za hrvatske sportase i pratim vijesti na HRT svakoga dana.Divna zemlja i divni ljudi (osim par nacionalista,ali tih ima svugdje :) Sad još malo pa cu imat 60 god:) Čuvajte Hrvatsku.Pozdrav iz Slovenije :)

One thing I love about Croatia is how good they are at languages The average Croatian speaks every European language in existence. Love from a Dutch tourist. Croatia is great!

Haha, I promise you that we don't speak every European language ;) Most of us can speak english and german in a good level, and if you went to gimnaziju(not sure how to say it in english, it's a 4 years long high school), you would also learn latin.

Yeah i guess that's a good thing, From the city of Graz about 2 hours to Zagreb and 4 hours to the sea. If you start at the south-eastern part of Austria and wanna drive to the northern part of Croatia it's actually possible within 30 minutes ^^ Austria and Croatia are already small countries but Slovenia is really tiny.

The summer before the pandemic, I sailed for 2 weeks in the Croatian Adriatic waters, from the island of Cres, the Kornati archipelago to the islands of Brac, Hvar and Korcula. The best part of my life, you have to visit that sea paradise on earth❤🙌

Hungary is a Uralic country. They were not one country orginally. Hungary always spoke a Uralic language. Croatia is a Slavic country that joined Hungary hundreds of years ago, while Hungary always remained it's own country that owned Croatia.

Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro can definately understand eachother easier, but I'm from Slovenia and don't have problems understanding this languages even though I don't speak them. I have some croatian friends and we speak in our own language and we still understand eachother 90%.

+Mark Burja I'm Croatian and spend a lot of time in Slovenia-- *I understand what people say if they speak slowly and I know the context of the conversation well*, otherwise I just get confused (because every 5th word sounds the same but means something totally different for no reason, plus *you have so many regional dialects spread over a small area it makes it really difficult for me to pick up the standard language*, which it seems like almost no young people tend to speak heh) But Mia's right in that it feels like most Slovenians understand me just fine when I speak Croatian...albeit I tend to express myself in mostly standard/globalist (i.e. derived from english) words. What ends up happening is that I default to english with my boyfriend (he's Slovenian), even though we've been together for 5 months and I lived in Ljubljana for half of it-- *it just ends up being simpler and better for nuanced conversation*. Plus english just sounds better than Slavic languages imho , less rough ^^
