Excellent exercise to isolate your hamstrings. For a killer hamstring and glute workout.Do lying/sitting leg curls to pre exhaust the hamstrings 1st, then this exercise to really break them down, followed by walking lunges pushing off from the back leg. Enjoy.

My question is...can you incorporate these exercises during off season training. Because i see a lot of training videos on youtube and its always cutting-leaning out for an up and coming show.

Sure - the principles are the same - you probably just go a little heavier and lower rep in your off-season training

actually what they are doing will build you mass so it works all around. you have to think when you get stronger you have no choice but to move up in weight getting the same results as the start when using say only a 10 pound plate. later on you will not feel that 10 pound plate and there for say go up to a 15 20 or 25 pound plate. just main focus is your building the muscle to give the look of size and shape unless your a power lifter trying to just simply move weight. as time goes on the strength will come which most people don't contemplate so that's the people who injure them self or wonder why they don't get the right results they want. I hope I helped. I've competed and am still a competitor in bodybuilding and a personal trainer.
