We only know he's speaking the truth and believe in him so confidently because we as the audience can see from can see from third person that the things actually happen. Do you have any clue how many times people approach the police saying aliens are invading and zombies are attacking and the world is ending? I spent a summer working dispatch and had a couple calls a shift that were complete bullshit, and every single time we would still send a unit out to check and make sure everyone's ok and surviving the attack of the mutant sewer gators or whatever. Just because we as the viewers of a fantasy movie know what's going on through all facets doesn't suddenly mean everyone in the movie is omnipotent. Sadly there are people like you who can't grasp that basic concept.

The Cliffton Well I suppose we all have our preference but personally when I read a book I'm drawn in to the internal and external problems and the imagination is the best part to interpret it your liking cause you can't be fully in the writers head even when reading. Yes it is easy to get sidetracked but unless you love ,love reading don't do more than a chapter a day and you'll find a book is rather fantastic but yes there are alot of good adaptations to enjoy too.

This is one of my favourite scenes; after he tells her his story in the worst possible way, she tells him to wait and invites her colleagues, who all listen to the story with a serious demeanour before bursting into laughter several seconds later. What gets me is when she turns around and looks at her two colleagues, she gives of the impression that she will scold them for laughing, but instead, she replies, "Don't say I never do anything for you," before bursting into laughter herself.

We could feel relevied and think that they would back him up and believe his story, because they might understand more than anyone the rasicm that exist in the USA, and would seriously looked that up...But absolutely not lmao, the last support you could think of is them, and they dont give it lol
