So a quick update…. The lip stains most definitely stain! When I did the swatches on my arms it took a couple of days to get rid of them. They also weren’t (for a lip stain) overly drying on my lips. Having said that, due to the staining, these lend themselves well to a balm or gloss topper without loosening the pigment. Hope that helps x

I don’t know if anyone suggested but Downy has dryer sheets that are for hair and lint. I use them and have two giant dogs that shed everywhere. They work great.

Dog hair - there are some balls or capture nets you can get on Amazon, they were partially successful as my last dog had a double coat! Only way I ever managed to get anything looking normal at least long enough to get to the wardrobe was to use the dryer. Super hairy stuff went through the dryer while still dry before going into the washing machine, and then back into the dryer even after going out on the line. You need to also clean the washing machine regularly - Amazon again sells some pet hair dissolver - you have to run it through on about 90 degrees, and don’t forget to clear the filters after every wash. I found that having the dogs bathed and brushed by the pros once a month helped hugely. Personally, I pretty much gave up with the last one and embraced the dog owner look. Sellotape was at one time my fave lint roller, kept a good stock on my desk. Enjoy 😅

For me I find the dryer takes off most dog hair, but there are dryer sheets (in the States, at least) that are made to attract the hair...

I agree - tumble drying will definitely help. You’ll get loads of hair out of the dryer and very little left on the piece of clothing.

Wonderful Gemma, buy loads of 3M lint rollers to use after the clothes come out of the dryer. I say, no girl’s outfit is truly complete without a little cat hair. There simply needs to be a level of resignation especially with play clothes. ❤❤❤

You look so lovely. Really love the eyeshadow especially. I had semi permanent eyeliner done yesterday and I love it. I’ve always struggled to get that nice winged liner look so decided to just hand it over to someone who really knows what they’re doing. I’m intrigued by the Hourglass eyeshadow stick in Aurora, very soft and pretty. Also speaking of Hourglass, someone said that the Hourglass Equilibrium eye balm is the best eye cream for Not best eye cream overall just under makeup…so of course I thought of you Gemma. If you can find it on sale I think you should take one for the team and buy it so you can report back! 💰💰

I've just received the Huda lip blush in the Rosy Kiss shade. Also love the barely there feeling of it on my lips. The shade dries down to my lip shade but with a deeper tone and rosiness which I find youthful. I believe you are supposed to apply it and blot it to set the stain, not just wait for it to dry down. Haven't tried it as blush ..doing that tomorrow in daylight! Keep the videos coming..love your informative opinions on everything you and your mum try! x

Re: dog fur issues.. I started putting the washer on the heavy soil setting vs. normal and it makes a huge difference! In the US we also have XL dryer sheets for pet fur and those help too. Xoxo Britt and 90 lb yellow English lab Hero ❤We love your channel!

Dog hair.... I found tumble drying got rid of dog hair, it ends up in the lint catcher, and you just throw it away. Pain if you want to put your washing out on the line in the nice weather; but it is a solution. Love your videos Gemma x

I have the pink Iconic blush and there is a major overspray of glitter. But as you use it, it dies down. I use it as a blush topper and it’s gorgeous.

I feel your frustration! I have two dogs and two cats so lots of pet hair! I use 100 percent wool dryer balls in the dryer. They work pretty well, but it’s helpful to remove excessive dog hair with lint rollers before putting into the washer. Hope this helps!

I really liked this video. I enjoy watching application videos. For fur, I'd encourage checking the washer and dryer filter. I didnt know my washer had a filter and cleaning it out helped.

I WANT THAT FOUNDATION AND POWDER!!!!! 😂❤ As for dog hair, buy a wardrobe of Ralph coloured clothes, just sayin'! 😜 Any decent clothes that are dark, I wash in a laundry bag. Not quite as bad, but not eliminated. The house of owning a dog Gem!😂

Actually I find most lighter shades in sticks tend to lift. However you should check with Stephanie Marie as she seems to be an expert with one and done. I don’t tend to care for them myself. So glad you did this!!!

Hi Gemma, with stick shadows no brush needed it drags it off, all you need to do is tap it to blend with your fingers as you would concealer. Have you tried the Scinic Korean sunscreen? It disappears into my dry skin, great stuff. A must try!. Great video as ever.

LOVE the blush!!! On the eye sticks--I love them. I use Julep. You have to let them set down for a few seconds before lightly blending with a brush. Fingers don't work well. I saw something on Amazon that is supposed to attract the dog hair in the dryer.

I agree with everyone on the fur zapper from Amazon, also something called Chom Chom roller. I have 3 cats and it picks up fur off of furniture, rugs, etc.

Really pretty blush, thankfully it’s not in my budget or I’d be quite tempted! As for the shadow sticks I’d personally prefer much, much more pigment but I can see that other people might prefer a lightly pigmented shadow stick. 😊

I think I've found my products to wear for my daughters graduation 😍 ..... apart from the blusher 😉 I really loved the HG eye sticks/crayons (whatever they're called), foundation, bronzer, lip stain and the magical powder ✨️ I say Surratt the way you first said it. That mascara reminds me of the Bobbi Brown Smokey mascara, very natural and definitely "there". For the time being, I've literally given up on concealers. I've just been using the Mac Conceal and Correct palette, sometimes adding a little foundation on top. Anyway, doing this has worked for my super dark undereye circles, no creasing, so no powder is needed. If anyone mentions a hack for pet fur - please, please 🙏🏻 could you mention it on your next vid 🥰🥰? My demon fur ball is my Burman cat, he seems to "dump" fur EVERYWHERE, even in places he's not allowed 😵‍💫 Lots of love and hugs and more love 💖🤗💖💖🤗💖💖🤗💖💖🤗💖💖🤗💖

Know your fur frustration first hand!! I have three pups, black, blond and white, yikes! I don't throw my clothes in the dryer straight out of the was, I air dry and then toss in the dryer with Bounce for pets dryer sheets. I also have to run an extra rinse cycle so that my bedding doesn't get dog hair on it when washed.. Hope that helps... Great Video! thank you Gemma

vamoosh i use in my washing machine, dissolves the hair and doesnt clog the machine can get this from b and m or homebargins trust me a life saver especially pets bedding x

I tried the KVD foundation. I found it VERY drying and it showed up lines I didn't know I had. It looked great straight after applying, but really dried out and cracked after an hour or two

The only thing i do to remove dog hair is everything into the dryer, I do air dry first then into the dryer just long enough for the hair to be removed. I can’t remember where I purchased it ,it’s a sachet to go in with the washing it totally removes it but it’s for dogs bedding only.

I've looked at the nars powder on line and I can't find a colour match the darkest light powder is to light and the first medium colour I estimated is to orange I get that regularly so no change there can't help with your dilemma with the dog hair as the last dog I had was a staffing and brushing was enough to limit transfer of hair my friend has 4 dogs with hair like Ralph I'll fing out how they manage and tell you in your next video hope you find a way round it before then xx

Gemma.......I bet you are fun during Christmas opening gifts :). This was so fun to watch, and I really like the blush and lippie color on your. This is a gorgeous look, just beautiful!!!!! Ok, about Ralph's hair...I have not tried them but I know amazon has 'balls' you are suppose to be able to add to your dryer to de-hair your clothing. Reviews I've seen are good but I have not purchased them!!!!!!!! Can't wait to hear updates on this powder and do you plan on trying it on your Mum, really need to know how it does on her as she is closer to my age!!!! Again, wonderful video today!!!

They have some sticky things maybe made out of silicone...not sure of material. You can put them in your washer or dryer. They really catch the hair. After using I wash them with dish soap and cool water and they are ready to use again. I use 2 to 3 at a time.
