This set comes with 5 bands of varying resistance, a storage bag, kzfaq.infoUgkxS7ex6L4sMqpaTn4LnBPyBmRQsSingL8y a small pamphlet with some sample exercises, and an access code for an online workout video. I haven't viewed the online video, so I cannot speak to the quality of that piece of the set. However, everything else is perfect for what I was looking for. The bands are durable, and the resistance strength varies enough between bands that they're each useful for different exercises and provide a great challenge as you gradually increase the resistance level for certain exercises. The only band I don't use very often is the lowest resistance band, but even that is nice for exercises that target weaker/seldom used muscle groups.

Definitely the best plan and explanation for pull ups I’ve seen. Mostly I hear ‘do lat pull downs until you get strong enough,’ or ‘just do pull ups.’ But you really break it down to not only a workable plan, but explain how to activate the lats, something that’s often missing from other pull up how-to videos. Thanks
@JamesGrage
@JamesGrage 5 жыл бұрын
Daniel Clifton hey Daniel. Thank you for the awesome feedback. Yeah you’re right, doing lat pull downs will obviously help you get stronger which should translate to an improvement in your pull-ups, but the best way to get better at pull-ups is doing pull-ups. The interesting thing about lat pull downs is I see the same mistakes that people make in their pull-ups (too much biceps, and not engaging their lats)

Notes 1. Active hang 3x20s 2. Scap PU 2x10 3. Lat activation with medium resistance band 2x20 >> Think of pulling your elbows down to activate lats >> Pull shoulder blades down and back >> Feel the lats 4. Isometric hold 3x10s >> mistake: body is swinging back and forth (wasted energy) >> Fix: keep core tight 5. PU negatives 3 sets (to failure) >> Count to three >> If u get to 10x 6. Assisted pull-ups

I’ve been training in gyms for over forty years and some of those earlier years competitively but in the last year I’ve been training at home . But of course when training at home you lack variety and innovation and sometimes motivation. Enter James Grage and his detailed yet simple videos. Boom! Who would of thought that you get this type of training with bands. I’m motivated! Thanks James.
