I live in America, I asked white friends why they don't like white skin and do tanning. Lots of them told me, they don't hate white skin. But when someone is tan or darker, it makes them look thinner. I've come to my conclusion that people want what they don't have. I'm fair skin Asian and I'm happy with it, but that doesn't mean I hate or think down to dark skin. My grandpa had such a beautiful dark brown skin, like African. My brother has brown skin like Indians and most of my women are fair skin. And I love them all. There's no one beauty standard, it's all depends on our taste. I never find Hollywood celebrities attractive compared to Asian but that's me. It's my eye. That doesn't mean they are ugly. Also, in India, everybody thinks Aiswarya is the most beautiful. However, I've seen lots of girls like her even more gorgeous here in America. Actually, I don't find her that amazing.
