I love the 2 watches behind you at eye level , the Casio DW-6700 and Casio BM-100WJ. I have 3 of each watch in mint condition. One of the DW-6700 watches I have is brand new with tag from JAPAN. I've liked Casio watches ever since my grandmother bought me my first one back in the early 1980's. I have over 300 in my collection , mostly G-Shocks. I have about 100 Vintage Casio watches and G-Shocks. I just bought a Casio DW-6200 in mint condition , Casio DW-6700 with a new original bezel , Casio DW-500W in new condition w/original manual and case it came in , Casio TS-1200 and a Casio H104G Melody Alarm watch in new condition. I love your channel and Vintage Casio watches.

I recently found my father’s vintage Alba Y709-4020 from circa 1979-early 80s. Sent it in to get the battery replaced, corrosion repair and to fix the sticking buttons. I’m hoping it gets fixed.

This channel is the real treasure for me to learn more about digital watches and its repair. I have couple questions and if you decide that it will be interesting for the channel you can answer :) - Please show us your multimeter, soldering iron and microscope (basically any tips for multimeter, soldering iron and microscope, for repair). - You are saying not to buy modern watches. BUT, how do you think, which modern digital watches will be good to invest for the future (your opinion, which one will be good collectable piece in future)? Thank you for the content once again!

The best recommendation I ever had came from you! I have bought quite a few rare digital watches from Jauce and - as you said - they just needed a clean and a new battery. All of them work. One of them was a Rikoh complete with original tags. I reckon I have saved more than £50, even allowing for postage. Also, the long wait for them to arrive means it is super exciting to open the packages!

I bought a few new and used Casios. I got a DW 6900 for cheap while thrifting and then spent 4 + times more on the battery, bezel and new belt to bring it back to life, it was awesome. I also unexpectedly found locally a Casiotron r-15 for a very good price and in good condition, bought a H101 Marlin, an A-680 and swapped the case on another 80s metal casio for a case in better condition. It was fun and I'd like to get more metal casios, but there doesn't seem to be that many on the market and the few that do appear seem a bit too pricey for me.

Funny thing is that I have DBC-1500 that I've used for 10 years or more (bought ~1995) and this fake metal plastic case was so bad... I've swapped case with DBC-150 (bought NOS case on ebay) + strap and now I have NOS DBC-150 with old soul :-) Something that I hate about new digital Casios - most of them lack accuracy adjustment.

Great channel! I am a fan of Casio Databanks. Recently, I added a DB-150 to my collection, but unfortunately, it is not working properly. When I put in the battery, it only lasts for one day, and then the low battery indicator blinks. After this, the battery is completely drained within a week. I disassembled it completely and cleaned it, but it still doesn't work. Have you ever experienced anything similar with these watches? Do you have any idea what the problem might be? I only partly agree about not buying new digital watches. Sure, there is no hunt and nothing to repair. But not everyone has the skill and tools to fix vintage ones. Besides that, when a company brings out a watch in a nice steel case instead of resin, I still want to have one of those as well. As not so many are made that way nowadays. I have only 3 though. A G-Shock B5000, a Braun BN0106 and a Casio A1000.

Hey, I recently got into repairing digital watches and have a few that all have the same problem.. The sound is very very quiet. You can only hear it if you hold the watch to your ear. The contacts seem to be alright and the piezo speaker looks normal too.. I thought about just buying some cheap piezo speakers und glueing them in but I am not really sure... Maybe it's just a voltage problem?? Would be great if you or anyone with experience could help, thanks for your time.

I have been collecting LED ,LCD watches for 20 years .The only Casio watches i have are the Scientific ones.The other other ones are throw away items ..This whether you like it or not ...They will degrade horribly and quickly
