Hi everyone! My name is Vasil and I am restoring my 1974 Columbia 45 sailboat. Power generation has been a challenge a struggle on this boat since day 1. I've had to rely on two old solar panels to harness the power of the sun and squeeze out the small amount electricity they could provide me. As my power needs increased, I am no longer able to meet my power requirements from the solar panels alone.
It's time to fix the 2000 watt generator I've had sitting on board this boat for several months. Having a working generator on board will allow me to charge the batteries for my tools, my laptop, and the onboard 12v batteries. However, the generator is not in running condition. It's time to fix this essential piece of equipment. Once the generator has been fixed, I'll need to set up an area to plug in all the outlets for my equipment and my 12v charger.
