Worth noting that if you are using a Tunze battery backup at the same time, unless the P4 maintains power during a power outage, the Tunze pumps will not work while in “external control”. The Tunze 7097/7096 controller is powered by the Tunze pumps themselves so avoids this issue.

Your 100% Correct, thank you for pointing this out. The P4 would need to be plugged also into a UPS. If this is done then you could also use the Power failure mode also on the P4 and lower power consumption used on the 1-10V ports allow the Tunze battery backup to even last longer.

Great write up. This answered the hook up questions. But roger recommended having two 6095s. Which I bought for my waterbox. Now he recommends one side running at a constant 30% while opposite one is Constantine changing speed. Then after 12 hours or so. Switch sides to constant 30% while other one continues to change speed. Is this possible??

Yes, you could do this via a Illuimination channels on the 1-10V ports. Set for the first 12 hours constant at 30% and then create the ramp up and down for the remaining set points. Using two for the 30% would give you 22 more set points for the remaining time intervals. You would loose feed mode, and tunderstorm but this would give you the exact feature your looking for. If you wanted feed, you would then plug them Tunze power bricks into a powerbar port and use the filter option on the port and would turn it off.

Great write up however with the Max and Min voltage I think the newer pumps you have should be set to (min) 0v and (max) 6.5v - then each pump configured with a min flow of 20% and max flow of 100%. For the older style (little black box) it a (min) of 0v and (max) of 8v - then configure each pump to a min flow of 30% and max flow of 100%. Hopefully this makes sense.
