FILM DESCRIPTION:
After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become "ghostbusters" to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.

I never noticed until later that Stay Puft’s facial expression changes when they zap him. Which does mean that at the start he was legitimately walking along the town going 😃

As a kid, the scene never bothered me even though it was pretty creepy. The darkness he was emerging from was kind of unsettling, but as a kid, I was a huge fan of Godzilla and King Kong so the marshmallow man was nothing more than another kaiju to me!

Ray did well. A flabby, fat, soft marshmallow man is very limited in what he can do. Imagine if he had in mind a Xenomorph, a T-Rex or Venom/Carnage - then we would have had bigger problems 😨

@@Supasmartguy That's actually a smart idea, it actually is said the Ghostbusters were only able to defeat Gozer because he/she wasn't fully manifested into their world yet so if they hadn't crossed the streams soon enough then they wouldn't have been able to stop Gozer. Perhaps Stay Puft would've grown bigger and more powerful such as in the early drafts of the film where Stay Puft was 300 feet tall and threw fireballs.

i would have mixed feelings about how scared i would be one the one gozer is an entity from another dimension who could kill anyone easily but other other hand it took the form of a marshmallow sailor which would make me want to laugh myself stupid at how that's among the least scary things i'd see
