As i can remember, they are embodied vapors, like slimer, but unlike slimer who is the simbol of hunger, they never were somekind of life mater manifestation nor simbols of any sin or crime. They are common in the "ghostworld", as humans on our reality.

"The ghosts aren't part of the joke" shows they know that Ghostbusters is at its best when the villains are there to just straight up terrify/kill everyone and the comedy is left to the humans.

I'm so excited to see the movie arrives to my country. I think this movies will overcome his own prequel and I think you'll see a great bond between family and friendship. I remember B. Murray's Ghostbusters back in the 80's and he kinda looks like Paul Rudd ( Mr. Groberson) but what I like the most is that is also based on the animated series The Real Ghostbusters from the 80's . The red jacket that I watched, is from the animated series, is gonna be so awesome

@@Bugplanet8840 So first we got Gozer, a slimer clone, and a ridiculous story about the Ghostbusters breaking up that made no sense. Now we get stuff from the video game and "what if New York turned to ice?" I miss the genius of Harold Ramis so damn much. They really should be letting Aykroyd generate some crazy new ideas. Yes, filter them through sanity, as was Harold's job, but Gil and Jason just don't have any creativity. It's all recycled.

Great movie, I love the opening with the haunting soundtrack, the main villain is fantastic though...monsters and comedy make him a little less scary, also his proportions are very narrow and so it doesn't look correct with the sharp long fingers. The face kind of reminds me of a grandpa more than a skeletal mummy or pharaoh god, but when it's just the glowing eyes.. auhh I love it! And the deep bass that companies.

I watched it recently and I thought it was ok, nothing special.... Stop catering for kids, the kids will follow in time... It had some flaws like, such as being unfrozen seconds later when they would have had frost bite, the main ghost was rubbish as it was only present in the last 20 mins of the movie..... ALOS PLEASE STOP SHOWING THE SMALL STAY PUFFS, its not needed, they used too much.

The only two ghostbusters movies ever made that were decent were the first two originals from way back. Then Harold Ramis passed away and they should have left it alone and moved onto another idea but no..... they have to destroy everything and try churn out these high budget high cgi special effects "sequels" and the fans will never know anything of the magic it brought back in the day with good actors and decent writing and producing and direction. They put effort and skill into their work it was magic. And it's gone...... so stop ruining our childhoods and let it go you greedy rats.

Oh please...smh. Yes it was. It always was. If they didn't have any interesting creatures to investigate or bust, it wouldn't be ghostbusters. The ghosts are what makes story of the Ghostbusters work just as much as the team chemistry and the deadpan comedy. No debate about it!

@@maskedhero6425yes the ghosts were part of it, but the heart of GB was what you just said - team chemistry and deadpan comedy. And that's completely gone in Afterlife and probably Frozen empire, from the looks of it. So to try to make us all feel excited about ghosts in a segment like this feels really empty to me. And that's not even my biggest gripe yet. Star wars sequels played the theme song. Indiana Jones sequels played the theme song. Star trek sequels played the theme song. Does GB really hate its own theme song that much ? Whoever makes these decisions at GB suck.

@@edzehooDude, in the trailers, both the international and the other one, there's a lot of deadpan comedy from both the OGs and the new Ghostbusters AND there's also a lot of scenes that show you the new team chemistry as they grow into more than just 4 dudes fighting ghosts, they start to become the Ghost Corps we all wanna see in the big screen, watch the trailers again in case you missed all that.

@@checkmagik I'll put it this way. GB 1+2 made me chuckle. All the "comedy" in the new ones either make me want to roll my eyes, or just choke a puppy to death from the cringe. Unless you're part of this new generation that's so easily entertained, I'd suggest lowering your expectations. As if the script wasn't bad enough, they get rid of the iconic theme song too. For what god-awful reason I have no idea. I can't bring myself to appreciate any work that chooses to disrespect itself and its (older) fans so much.

@@edzehoo It ain't disrespecting anyone, these are films that pay homage to the originals and target a younger audience all at once, I think it's terrific that they're bringing Ghostbusters to a new gen and I honestly think it's amazing what they're doing with the new movies in terms of plot and charachters, you need to think that 40 years passed since the first movie, and these guys are doing the best job they possibly can to bring this franchise into a new era, if you can't even appreciate that, just go and re-watch the originals as many times as you want, nobody is forcing you to watch the new movies, although I will go to the cinema to bask in Frozen Empire in 4D! Enjoying myself to the very top of the experience!
