I wanted to take the time to say thank you for your great reviews. I got my Ferrosi Hoody fall of 2016 and i must say you are correct it is by for the best light jacket. Never too hot and always performs perfectly. I live in Sough Dakota, the weather can change in a second in the spring and fall, this jacket has never let me down. thank you for the great recommendation and keep up the great work.

I’ve wanted this jacket for years and watching one of your other videos I saw it on you (like always) and decided to FINALLY get it. Had to jump through some hoops to use your link, and I got a slightly updated version (thumbholes!), so I hope you still get your cut. Just want to support the channel!

I too have the hoodie... but never use the hood. I guess I should get the jacket version. Also, the hoodie has a combination of heavier (shoulders) and lighter (body) weight fabrics. The jacket does not have the heavier reinforced shouldered so it will cut down on weight and increase the breath ability even more.

Thanks for this review! I'm loving your clothing reviews. I'd love to see your top picks for hiking/camping shorts & pants. I'm 6'1" and just over 200lbs, and seem to be very similarly proportioned to you. I've had a tough time with the fit of shirts (either way too baggy in an L and WAAAAY too tight and short in an M) but your Under Armor shirt recommendation was spot-on. I think I'll definitely pick one of these up to try out. As an aside... I've had a really hard time with standard sizes of dress/casual clothing fitting properly, but outdoor gear (REI Down jacket and Marmot rain jacket) seems to be just completely spot-on in an L. Have you experienced similar? Is outdoors clothing typically more of a European/universal cut?

I love this hoody. I've been wearing the women's for a couple years now (their sizing fits a bit better for my shape, & the styling isn't overtly for one gender or the other), and it's terrific. It's a great jacket for Seattle when it's cool enough to cut the wind, but not cool enough to really warrant a light jacket like the Aria or a Patagonia down sweater. Proud to have spent money on it.

Is there a favorite wind/rain shell you may have found to wear over It? I know it sounds like you don't need one due to your weather (I lived in Denver in 1975 while in USAF), but it does occasionally rain or blow a bit. You out probably have a go to heavier duty jacket you wear for those occasions?😊

I studied some myself and those are two that come up frequently. I was really just curious as to what Gideon might use out in Colorado and that vicinity and he mentioned a poncho which is OK and I have one of those. I have a Catrike that I like to ride, but here in steamy Florida I am not sure if I would wear that or not. I have a rain jacket that is breathe able, but sometimes a tad warm. I am leaning towards the Helium, but could still go with a Marmot. Thanks for your input as it is one more vote for a jacket type to go with.

Hey Arron, do you recommend any good pair of gloves? I got the Spyderco tenacious yesterday and closed it with one hand and caught my finger in it, took chunk off right down to the bone and that can't be sowed back on. Sucks. But that was my fault for rushing and being inexperienced and playing around to cocky with a knife I didn't take the time to get to know. But anyway I was just curious u know any good fitting gloves. Love your videos Britha keep them coming.

WALDO good now thanks man. it took a nice chunk with the spyderco tenacious. being stupid and careless when I first opened it lol I closed it quick and my tip was in the way and snip! right off on a 45 degree angle so it was a little nasty but i actually had worse before on the same exact finger! my right hand pointer finger. anyway it's healed, but if I use it for somthing and poke it a little or stub it, it hurts really bad still I don't know if that's how it's gonna be for the rest of my life or if it takes a year to not be tender idk. just have to hope and wish for the best I geuss. and I don't have great sense of feel with it. I have to use the other side or my other fingers to actually feel somthing... but thank you for asking man. I asked for a good pair of gloves for Christmas so maybe that will help

Why can't you just have one and use it around town and back country? Be responsible of your footprint man. I know you are just one person and feels like doesn't make a difference but every bit counts. Specially when you have a social media audience.

Charith Mettananda I have more than one, so that I can be rough and trash one and not worry about stains, sweat odor, smoke odor from the camp fire and the like on one and keep the other clean and odor free for around town, the office and the like. Other wise I would need to replace the one sooner because of it is worn twice as much and would need to wash it constantly since I am in my outdoor one every weekend for one thing or another.

Relax, he's not gonna ruin the planet because he owns three of these, lol. Also, he has no one to be responsible to to but himself. Keep the guilt trip to yourself, and live as a minimalist if that makes you feel better about yourself.
