Melo is quite good. He just plays on a trash team and is not hyped by the media. You dudes don’t have any independent thought. You believe what the media tells you to believe. Steph is not better than Melo, right now. He is..and always has been a one dimensional star that needs other stars to shine. He is streaky. Not consistent. He has a few good games and a few bad so his AVERAGES are high. But it’s an illusion. He is streaky. Melo, under the right system..like Steph had for years..he is the best of in the league. Remember..Steph ain’t doing it without other stars. Now that his costars are no longer good..he cannot win.

That causes Charlotte hornets is a perpetual losing organization. They have been a laughing stock for: Bad drafts picks, running through coaches, bad scouting team, and no real structure. rashad might have just given us the worst take i've ever heard in my life. there are only a few players who are truly UNTRADEABLE and steph easily falls into that category. he's literally synonymous with the bay and built the franchise ground-up, so they could never trade him based off of that legacy. but on top of that, HE'S LITERALLY CURRENTLY PLAYING AT A SUPERSTAR LEVEL!!!!! the hornets could call the gsw FO and offer their entire roster for 1 steph curry, and they'd IMMEDIATELY hang up the phone. i stg yall bring mccants just to stir up the comments mane 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

@greyklopstock7155
@greyklopstock7155 5 ай бұрын
@@swaekim9402deadass, in terms of value to a franchise, Steph is in that handful of guys like Jordan, Duncan, Dirk, where there is close to zero relevant history about that franchise before they came along. Like, the Spurs didn't win JACK before Timmy, the bulls ain't win shit before MJ and haven't won jack since. The mavericks never sniffed that level of success until Nellie took that calculated risk on drafting Dirk. Cause yeah, you might say Kobe, Magic, Bird, etc, but like, the Lakers and Celtics have had a shit load of pantheon guys. Those teams have been A1 since day one. Kobe, bird, etc, those guys were hugely important for their franchises, but like, their teams had been dominant for years before them, and continued to find success after. But Steph, MJ, Duncan, Dirk? Who TF gave two shits about the bulls before Jordan? The warriors were a laughing stock for over 40 years before Steph. The spurs were never a seriously competitive team until Duncan. Steph is untouchable. Trading Steph would be an unforgivable betrayal, an act of blatant disrespect to the guy who built this franchise into what it is today. That man put four fuckin banners up in the rafters and permanently changed the way the sport is played. As a bay area native, this place would effing EXPLODE if the warriors ever trade that man

Lamelo is not Steph Curry. But he's a far better prospect than Curry was at that age. Who gives up their franchise guy for a superstar they're going to have 2 or 3 more years of and don't even have the pieces to support? Just for some tickets? It's an ass take.

Gilbert is the one talking out of both sides of his mouth. A few days ago he was saying you can't look at people as "rookies or sophomores" and now he's saying LaMelo is still a rookie. Can't have it both ways to fit your narrative.
