Euro league plays 10 times the defense of the NBA. Also theres 64 europeans in the NBA and 450 total players, thats 14%. Theres 2 europeans in the top 10 defenders, thats 20%. Learn math Gilbert.

No, it's the absolute truth. As someone born similar to Shaq, I was a military kid. When I grew up in Germany, Basketball was barely a thing. Even in the late 2000's you could barely find any valuable teams that concentrate on the german league or pushing you into the NBA. Everybody just worshipped Dirk, but the training was lackluster. And now it's even worse. It's more popular sure, but while the best europeans go to the NBA, the germans here are buying washed up NBA players or guys who couldn't make it out of college and let them play here, because these players dominate even as failures. We had once training a week, of course you can't compete with high schoolers who train 6 days a week. lol The only way you could make it was by being a complete nut like Kobe and just do it yourself. Europe is still all about football, so nothing racist is going on here. Seems more like you are the racist trying to project your nonsense onto others.

i mean thats a wild statement... i mean i prefer to drive my offender to the center and switch playing the passing on their big.. i think thats good defense..if they take a bad shot miss and we get the reb thats as good as a steal for me... but the center isnt in the center really anymore.. i personally value iq on defense more than athleticism , but only a fool would discount raw athleticism wholisticly. I wonder what others think. As far as this clip he said european players, that doesnt discount the American players who have the same skin complexion necessarily. You can ask for clarity on the situation, but considering the language he use he can also state he is clear enough and that any claim of racism is soley based on the perception of the viewer.

I think what he means is they aren’t bangers . They kinda finesse style more due to the euro style defense . It doesn’t translate well to the nba where everyone has been defending around not being in the key for more than 3 seconds at a time . I think with all that considered , to call them poor defenders and say eliminating them is a solution is bogus. The nba takes the talent from Europe that the nba wants . You could actually argue the best 3 defenders are all Europeans ! 😂 many exceptions and guys who’ve adapted

Bro I’ve seen people come from overseas games with black eyes so what’s his point the NBA is way weaker u can’t even put a slight forearm on a defender when there driving to the paint why u think there’s so much space in todays games and the defenders are always 30 miles away from the defender because they can’t put no pressure on defense which gives the offense more comfortability

Watched the nba finals it looked like a pickup game to much dribbling and passing up wide open shots and wide open teammates let’s not even mention there’s no hustle they were jogging up and down the court for 10 minutes each 🤦🏽‍♂️
