Today's Tasty&Simple Recipe is an easy Ginger biscuit recipe, with just 6 ingredients. Please do try it out and enjoy!

150g butter
1 cup golden syrup
4 cups flour
1/2 tablespoon bicarbonates of soda
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg

Hey, I don't think it will work. Butter adds flavor on biscuits, so I don't recommend oil

What can I use if I don't have golden syrup? Is sugar fine?

Try honey , sugar wont give a chewy texture

Hi, normal baking temperature 180°C for about 10-12 minutes. Don't forget that oven temperatures may differ so I advice that you check them frequently after the 1st 6 minutes of baking and take them out as soon as they become golden brown in color
