That finish is insanely durable. I wanted to cut some slots in the slide on my CNC machine and that finish is thick and hard. One of the toughest finishes I've seen in a hand gun.

Anyone know what kind of screws I can get to replace the rear sight screws. Mine are stripped so i cant tighten them

I had the same issue and contacted EAA off of their website and had new ones inside of two weeks. Hope this hel[ps.

Mine has a completely different firing pin and I can't take it out

Have you changed the spring for the trigger?

Haven't done that. If it's your first pistol, I'd encourage you to shoot it as-is, and take a handgun course when they're open again rather than modding the trigger. The trigger pull on this pistol punishes bad form, so it's good for pointing out flaws and great for courses.

@@Huntinggearguy no i will not mod it, shot more today and it seems to be getting easy and oiled like you did, and seems way better, one thing with my kit is I have 3 bottles, had to google the translation, protect, clean and barrel oil

Out of focus a lot. The instructor uses terms like this thing and that piece instead of using the proper nomenclature which makes it confusing. Especially when his fingers are covering exactly what he is talking about.
