I visited Morgan's Pool and Woodstock Pool in Bettws, Newport - home to some great carp, perch and bream fishing here in my hometown.
Then I took a bus to the Roman remains out in Caerleon - it's like a village in a city - looking over the old amphitheatre, home to gladiators two millennia ago - and historic port, on the River Usk.
The last outpost of South Wales held up Roman Britain against the Celts further west in Wales. The 6000 capacity amphitheatre is the best preserved in Britain, even if it is nowhere near as well preserved as the Colosseum in Rome!

Apparently the UK and where I live in central Illinois in the U.S. have the same snow systems, we get shallow snow most of the time and it rains and melts here too. I did not know you have recycling of containers in England ! There has been recycling in the U.S. for I think 25 years now, the trash man picks it up two times per month. I saw duck tape on your outside door, I didn't know UK had duck tape. I have several rolls that I use for things around the house and outside too. I know what you mean walking in snow, ruins the perfect beauty of it. I agree. I feel the same way. Thank you for another good video.

You put together some fascinating videos on the area in Wales in which you live. Lived in the Phil. off and on (before you were born). Been there and done that. Thought it was fantastic like you do now, learned the language, customs etc. but in my Forties I realized all the fun and games I was having there were not putting any wood in my fireplace, and I needed to build a career. Still have friends there, still keep in touch, but my "days of glory" in the PI are now pleasant memories and am back home in the US. You are a "natural" and a very talented videographer. Please show us more of Wales and the UK.

Awesome video, as always, Kumander! The drone shots are smoother and I'm getting Attenborough vibes with the narration. It's just great to have all that history around you, going all the way back to the Roman empire! I live in Cebu and there's a lot of historical sites here too but mostly from the 1500's when the Spanish arrived.
