I will never understand why they choose Blaine to be the new Rachel Don't get me wrong, he's a talented singer and dancer but Tina really deserved it. And I think it was pretty funny when they sang Call Me Maybe to proof to be the better Rachel. She would have sung a musical song 😂 I really like the video and your thoughts, you have a new follower 👍

If I’m not mistaken, near the end of season 3 there is literally an episode when Rachel basically passes the torch of leadership to Tina. Like THEY HAD IT SET UP LAST SEASON. I mean, the writers treated Tina like crap, but STILL. (I’m excited to see you tear apart the fucking vic scene) I’ll give S6 this, at least the newbies felt NEW, and not a copy and paste. I will say tho, Marley doesn’t really feel like Rachel to me, just cause she was so timid compared to the Berry herself. And as much as you love Dean Geyer, you know how I feel about Brodys character ;-;

Brody as a character was pretty bad but def deserved better (on the subject of him basically being a sex worker.) He was just a nothing burger that was simply there to be Rachel's new love interest while Finn wasn't around. At least he's pretty to look at lol. And worry not, once I'm done talking about the season openers & finales, I'll delve into character analysis...and Tina will have her day soon enough.

I think Jake is also the new Mike Chang since he’s a phenomenal dancer… so a mix of Noah and Mike

Literally my favorite episode title, I loved how they gave it 3 meanings, and the fact that Blaine really took over the lead singer role, so it wasn't inconsequential.

I honestly think that what ruined Glee was the New York plot. The New Characters did look like the original seniors but they had some interesting new backgrounds and personality traits, the problem is that the producers took all the screen time they had to be original and interesting to give it to Rachel and Kurt on New York. It would be SO much better if they just had an spinoff focused on New York and kept the show on New Directions

Yeah for sure. The NY plots definitely deserved their own show. That was definitely the plan but it fell through sadly.

IDK if I'll touch on EVERY episode or not throughout my analysis of the show. That said, it's not off the table. For now though, I'm looking season openers & finales to kick things off so the next vid is all about S4's finale.
