Who ever hasn't checked out RinHara5aki should definitely do it. Especially his combat montages "Open Your Eyes" and "For our friends". Those two videos completely changed the way I saw and played the game, just by exploring the combat mechanics a lot more by using those glitches for more interesting fights. Strangely enough, it also boosted my opinion of the story in general. In my opinion, botw is missing those iconic music titles that make the story special. In OoT and MM there was this deep connection between very memorable music and the story. It's weird for me to bring that up, but those videos kinda gave me back this feeling and let me engage in the story in a way, that the game itself couldn't do. EDIT: I forgot to mention. "Legend" the cinematic trailer is also part of the reason why I have a higher opinion of the story. Check that out too.

1:39 I actually thought this was the right way to do this shrine and it was all the way back when the game first released that I discovered it, I flew over, thought,” I’ll lose a heart, but once it’s broken, I can just continue the process!” Nope, flew off and went above the shrine, I even walked out off the map and slowly glided to my doom

I found a visual glitch, hold a small 1 handed weapon, make sure to have any shield. Next pull a Savage Lynel Crusher and ta-da your shield is floating! To get rid of it: unequip the Crusher or get another weapon

1:02 i have use for this! So if you lose your stamina when you are floating in the air then just explode the bomb and you can use the paraglider more 2 seconds

There was one time I was in a shrine (I forgot which one) and there were one of those little guardians that just shoot. I parried it's bullet and it just stayed on my character until I ran. It was pretty funny.

I think you could use that first Revali's Gale bomb glitch to beat one of the shrines easier- I don't remember the name, but it's the one where you have to use a bomb to send another bomb into the ceiling.

At 1:41 I did that glitch on accident and when I did it I took so many screenshots!! If you jump off the edge you fall infinitely and if you run out of stamina and use your sword you can’t get out. The only way out then is to load a past save file. I did this but then my file for screenshots got corrupted and I lost all of them 😪😪 I’m so happy I wasn’t the only one to find this glitch though!! 😄😄

The lizalfos glitch is really strange. Obviously, some part of the physics engine is corrupted, but the extend of the damage and its various manifestations make it really strange. My best guess is that the lizalfos screw up some really basic transformation matrix, affecting all physics interactions.

Using the trial glitch, you can actually infinitely collect the korok on top of the building Cherrh is in without teleporting. You just collect it, take a step away, then grab it again. That's how I got my 999 seeds

My husband accidentally found a hilarious glitch. Just outside Hyrule castle while still within the castle map he used stasis on a walking guardian. Without touching the guardian the stasis ended and the guardian sunk into the ground. He was able to do it twice successfully.

Something to clarify: The Trial of the Sword glitch has been patched for a while now. In fact, I believe a couple of these glitches have been, that's just the only one I know for a fact has been

trial of the sword glitch was specifically patched, even though there are other extreme game breaking glitches like infinite soul orbs which translates to full heart/stamina and infinite rupees at the sell shrine. this was never patched.... and many more, some really old

I am hunting all koroks currently. During these wild adventures i keep finding new glitches. Weather changing after finding a korok, physics trouble and one time a bunch of bananas turned into a bunch of bokoblin horns for no clear reason. The most fun was when i glitched out of bounds: I was searching koroks around hyrule castle town. I was around the pedestal from the memory cutscene with the champions but got ambushed by a guardian *and* a yiga clan archer. I hid under one of the stone bridges but the yiga spawned under it as well. His head went through the bridge part and when he hit me i got stuck in the wall. The camera started acting weird and i suddenly had full 360 camera control, despite being in a tight space. When i moved the camera through the bridge i tried using the sheikah scope. (Your out of bounds glitch from last week gave me that idea). I went completely out of bounds but quickly in bounds again. It was so weird and incredibly tense due to the guardian seeing me through the walls...

To explain the comment last week, firstly the Lizfalos Curse also has exclusive and particularly bizarre effects on Link's horse, which persist even once the glitch itself is deactivated. Secondly, I was making a reference to a game called Plants Versus Zombies Heroes, which features a character called Electric Boogaloo, who is a dancing zombie hero whose signature Superpower (a card called Staying Alive) causes them to summon and dance under a disco ball, before zapping a plant with electricity and healing themself, and their other superpowers are Electrobolt (which is just lightning), Dance Off (summons a pair of Backup Dancers), and Evaporate (which destroys a damaged Plant, and is present because all heroes have four superpowers and there aren't any other thematically linked Superpowers available to either of his classes). Incidentally, that game actually has some rather interesting and bizzare glitches, many of which have been patched, and also has a couple of really strange card interactions that may be intended but sure look a lot like a glitch.
