I like watching these videos to see others perspectives, but for me both the G43 and P365 are perfectly adequate carry options. Can't go wrong either way.

P365 is what I usually carry. G42 will stay my PT shorts option until I get an LCP in a month or so. I considered the G43x, but after putting another $200 into the 42 to make it right, just couldn’t justify it over the p365 at $505 out the door from the base.

The Shield Plus fits my hand better than either the 43 or the 365. Picked up the Bug Out package with the pistol that has night sights (front is bright orange to really draw your eye to it) and optic cut, the standard 10 and 13 round magazines, plus 3 more 13 round magazines and a sling bag. Roughly $550, and there is a $50 rebate. I understand your point about capacity as well. What really was the deciding factor for me is the way they fit my hand.

Thanks for your honest review. Love the packing heat, going to church. I am a glock fan boy too, have every glock and for carry, I have 19, 26 and two 43. None of them quite scratch that itch and being a perfectionist I bought the 365 and WOW is all I can say. Now I am losing sleep because I want to hold my glock but my heart knows 365 is superior in every way. I need to sell my 43 and 26 but hard to do emotionally like a divorce :)

Great video! If I only were to own 1 gun for my EDC CCW, and did not want purchase anything else then it has to be the P365 or the Hellcat because of the out of the box capacity. Most of the people who watch gun tubers do not fall into this category, we want MORE! These are the 2 platforms that have become like Iphone and the Samsung Galaxy. What do I mean by this? The Glock 43, 43X/48 are clearly the iphone. The sig p365 365X, and 365XL are the Samsung. Both platforms most all of the parts are interchangeable, Sig gets the win by copying the Beretta Nano and placing the serial number on the FCG. Glock still wins in the aftermarket though with the 15 round and 20 round SA magazines.

Thanks for the detailed review. Most reviews are nothing but a person firing both at the range which doesn't break them down feature by feature. I've been on the fence about which way to go and the P365 to me is the right decision.

I have a 43 but I'm a left handed so I prefer to carry my 19 gen 5. The 43 is great for concealment. Sometimes it's hard to choose witch one to carry lol

Nah…, I’ve owned two different versions of the P365. Both had issues and had to go back to SIG, TWICE. Wouldn’t trust my life to them. Back to Glock.

I just want to know which gun has less recoil and is more accurate? It doesn’t matter how much bullets the gun holds but how smooth and accurate the gun is when firing at target. I’m a glock fan boy but was considering another brand. I may just have to go to a shooting range and rent which guns I’m interested in and shoot them.

I’m biased, I carry a 365 every day, I own A few Glocks and only one Sig, and I always gravitate towards the 365

Carried glocks for yrs and then i got slapped in the face w the 365. Capacity and sights and I do like the trigger on the sig a little better. Bravo to sig for shaking things up!

The Glock won't go off in your holster or if you drop it though

I just got back from the store and I compared the Glock 43, the Sig P365 and the Hellcat. I have to say, compared to the Sig and Hellcat the Glock seems like a piece of junk LOL. Just kind of rattles all over the place like it's clunky or something when racking the slide, not at all smooth. The Sig and Hellcat are both really tight, but I'm leaning towards the Hellcat, seems like most people favor it. Plus it can hold 11+1 or 13+1 with the included extended mag which is amazing for pretty much the same exact footprint. I may pick up the Hellcat tomorrow!

is there a safety of that sig 365?

Not saying I hate the 365 i like both these gun however I have a 43 already that I got before the 365 came out and its been an outstanding gun thats super relaible so I just cant sell it. Also I have a P-11 that is smaller lighter and holds just as many bullets as the 365 so given those two things there is no reason for me to ever get a 365. If I had no guns and they all burned up in a fire accident and had to start from scratch the first gun I would get would probably be a 365 since its a gun that can do everything from home defense to EDC.

I agree Im not a fan of the 43x the gun makes no sense to me and would fit no purpose however I love the 43. They have reliable magazines now that up the capacity some. THe Sig 365 has a good capacity however more bullets means more weight which I dont like. I prefer the Glock 43 weight its right there at the minimum of pocket carry weight. THe 43 is the perfect gun in my opinion. Its the best overall do everything gun. Its the small gun that shoots like a big gun.

Believe it or not, you can get a 15 round mag by shield arms that works very well in the 43 Glock. I know this because I bought a few mags for my..... Wait for it Yes waist of plastic 43x🤣🤣😂🤣 but it was the one with MOS and I put a 507k green dot on that. Great capacity and they work well.

Try the flat trigger on the sig it’s the crispest trigger ever

I don't really like my 365x over my G19, but until Glock pulls their head out of their ass and gets with the program it's what gets used, trading off with the G19 when I have too, come summer. Weapons to me are tools, I don't get hung up on brands, and grab the tool that works for me at that time.

I EDC a glock 43 or 48. I don't disagree with anything you said. My reason for going glock is because of the internal safeties. I appendix carry and the redundant internal safety sold me. Glock has a firing pin block at the front of the striker assembly and the sear catches the rear of the striker assembly. Sig/smith and wesson has rear firing pin block. Both the firing pin block and sear catches the same metal branch that comes off the firing pin assembly. That means if that branch breaks nothing is stopping that firing pin from coming forward. Bonus for glock is that it is half cocked so even if the striker comes forward, hopefully it wouldn't have enough strength to set off the primer. While this is all tinfoil hat, S&W did have a recall recently on their ez line because that metal arm wasn't heat treated correctly. To your point, the hellcat and Gx4 has forward firing pin blocks and I am considering those guns for exactly the reasons you mentioned in the video but I"m not proficient enough with those guns yet to switch. So this is just a really long way of saying you're absolutely correct. Good video.

I have found the sig p365 a lot more expensive when compared with the glock 43 the sig p365 has had too many recalls and issues for me to trust I have never had any failures with a glock jm2c

There were three years between the Glock 43 and the Sig P365. I own several Glocks and enjoy range time with them, but I never really warmed up to the 43. Never mind capacity, it was the grip on the 365 that sold me. The added capacity was just gravy. I had to laugh when you said MSRP. Anyone dumb enough to pay MSRP deserves it. Real world numbers, my Glock 43 with night sights added was still slightly lower in price than my P365. Which one is best? You skipped over common sense completely and resorted mostly to opinion. First, size difference is negligible. That's measurable and thus, not subject to opinion. Actually, the 365 is closer in size to a Glock 42. Second, the Sig does indeed have a greater capacity if that's important to you. That's measurable and thus, not subject to opinion. The P365 does have a rail, but it is a proprietary rail, so only certain lights or accessories will fit. The 42/43 don't have accessory rails. Most people don't use them anyway, so that's mostly irrelevant. Front serrations? Press check much? It really comes down which one you shoot best. Personally, I shoot the 365 better and I like the trigger more. I also know people that couldn't hit the ground if they shot at it with the Sig, but shoot the 43 very well and hate the trigger on the 365. I have to agree with you on the 43X. I do find the Glock mags easier to load than the 365 mags. I find that the mags for my 365XL are much easier to load than the 365 mags.

You lost me when you said the P365 had a better magazine release. I've owned one for a while now and I have yet to meet anyone that can drop the mag without changing their grip. I wouldn't call myself a Glock fanboy but I have carried them on duty for many years and never had to change my grip to drop a mag. Of course the current generation is obsessed with higher capacity so Sig wins that, but it won't make up for training and proficiency.

Biased?! You are a Glock fan. Both guns are very reputable however these days in most videos that I find and people that I know the SIGs are favorites among retired and current US seals. Both Glock and sigs are nice.

Sig 365 = increased capacity, decreased reliability and safety. Also, 3 recalls = fail. I prefer a gun where the firing pins don't break after 500 rounds. Sig 365...Not.Even.Once.
