In a previous video • GMC Envoy: Hard Start ... I had a look at a customers Envoy XL and found it did not have quite enough fuel pressure. The customer gave us the OK to drop the tank and make a few more checks to make sure it IS the fuel pump that needs to be replaced.

I had the Wonky Fuel Gauge Syndrome on Her Ladyships Montana. GM rigorously deny any wrongdoing and blame the fuel which damages the Potentiometer tracks, giving false readings and if left too long will require pump replacement. Got some gas cleaning juice from the dealership and it fixed it. . Very thorough diagnosis. Impressive

For many years I did all the mechanical type work. I admitted that when electrical and real problems other than mechanical came up I wasn’t the guy in the shop for that. I could read voltage and do an ohm test. We all appreciate your hard work to make these videos Eric! A lot of the electrical testing and things of that nature you show on your channel may be common sense to you but some of us it is not. Thank you again! God bless SMA!!

Phil walked away and i said to myself watch the teacher went to check the old one to see where the plug went. I could hear my old man telling me to not throw out the old part until you prove the new one works,that was 50 years ago when we thought we were getting good parts, now we get one size fits all and his sage advice still applies. Good video and good advice !

Another KZfaqr pulled the tank in a GM vehicle with lots of gas recently. He and his helper dropped the tank. You were right in sending the truck home to run the gas level down. Smart thinking!

Every time I watch one of your vids and you go for a test drive, it reminds me of Harpers Ferry Iowa, a small town on the Mississippi River where I once had a fishing cabin. The bluffs around the town look so much like the ones around your city. The roads are even similar.
