GMO Food - It's Worse Than We Thought
Over the last decade, as genetically modified, or GMO, foods have increasingly taken over our food supply, we've been learning more about their dangers to our health.
Now, one courageous doctor is pointing to mounting evidence that leaves no doubt - GMO foods are even worse than we were told.
As this respected doctor points out in a riveting new presentation, no long-term human studies have ever supported GMO safety. Shockingly, the World Health Organization only requires a mere 90 days of testing to claim that GMOs are safe. Well, no one dies from smoking cigarettes within 90 days of starting to smoke, either!
Yet while lifetime studies still have not been done on humans, scientists have done these studies on animals - and what they found is stunning. Lab mice fed just a 33 percent GMO diet begin developing aggressive cancers (particularly breast cancer), liver failure, and kidney failure.
Shockingly, 50 percent of the males and 70 percent of the female animals on the GMO diet succumbed to early death at an age equivalent to 40 to 50 human years.
While more people have begun to fight back against GMOs, the big GMO companies spend millions of dollars to defeat laws that would require GMO labeling. Quite simply, these big companies know that GMO crops are cheaper to grow, and therefore more profitable.
In the meantime, many health experts now warn us to take the only positive action available to protect our health - avoiding GMOs as much as humanly possible. But considering the fact that GMOs are hidden in over 30,000 food products, that is not an easy task.
Fortunately, one courageous doctor has stepped up to the plate. Dr. Russell Blaylock, one of America's leading medical researchers and nutritionists, has created a special free video presentation that explains the hidden health hazards of GMOs. Dr. Blaylock will show you how to protect your family from GMOs and their dangers - aisle by aisle at the grocery store.
Dr. Blaylock's new video presentation exposes how GMO ingredients and other harmful additives are hidden on labels under safe-sounding names. In fact, you'll see some of the actual labels and find out what to watch for.
And those stickers pasted onto fruits and vegetables? Using real examples, you'll learn a simple way to tell the difference between GMO produce that may also be packed with harmful pesticides and herbicides, and produce that is safe and natural.
Cracking the GMO Code
Travis Davis, health publisher at Newsmax, previewed Dr. Blaylock's presentation for our readers and reports: "GMOs enter your body through thousands of packaged and canned food products, through fresh produce, and through the meat, chicken, and fish you eat. The expert help Dr. Blaylock offers in this video reveals everything you need to know to avoid GMOs at the grocery store as well as restaurants."
Since the introduction of GMO foods, many cancers and other diseases have skyrocketed in humans. Can this really be a coincidence? Please use the information available in this online educational presentation, Cracking the GMO Code to help protect your own health - and the health of your family.
Renowned former neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., left conventional medicine after decades of practice to concentrate on nutrition and disease prevention. He is the author of several health books and medical editor of The Blaylock Wellness Report.
Editor's Note: This video blows the lid off the GMO controversy and exposes little-known dangers. Plus, you'll see exactly how to avoid GMOs in their many hidden forms, in grocery stores and in restaurants.

Why are people so pro-GMO? It seems to me that nature made it best, so why modify it? It's really not helping anyone, and starvation still runs rampant despite the GMO community stating that this is one of the main reasons for modifying crops. The starvation comes from GREED and no franken-fruit is going to cure that.

There was a study published in the journal of animal science that looked at the effect of gmo feed on 100 billion farm animals. Yeah, they were just as healthy as the animals that ate non-gmo feed. Ndoli Sabi It's absolutely true. Why do you think Monsanto is the only entity to study it's products? Do you understand how this stuff works? -Monsanto will do a study on it's products to show they're safe. -The USDA must conduct a mandatory review of the GM crops to determine their impacts on the environment and health -The EPA must conduct a mandatory review of the GM crops to determine their impact on the environment. They also regulate pesticides and herbicides used on biotech crops. -The FDA must conduct a mandatory review of the GM crops to determine whether or not they are safe to eat. This process takes *years* to complete for a single biotech product to reach the market. Subsequent independent studies are also frequently done. This is a well established and frequently studied area of science.

I used to work with Round-up before we were aware of it's dangers. These were back in the days when Monsanto was saying it was comepletly harmless, and you could drink it. We had a 50 gallon plastic drum of the concentrate, which we diluted in the area of 10 or 20 to 1. I can't recall the exact proportion, but the point is that it was the highly concentrated, industrial strength product, not the ready-to-spray you get in the containers like he's using. It had to real smell and certainly didn't put off any fumes. It's sad he felt the need to dramatize this video by acting as if the product has some tell-tale sign of just how dangerous we know know it is. For the record, we were not using near any of the food products we grew. We were trying to combat a takeover by the mustard the Catholic Spaniards used mark their trails as they explored the State and decimated the indigenous people. The irony is very intriguing. I'm sure they had no idea how that mustard would one day threaten to devastate the delicate balance of the native plant life hundreds of years later, just as we had no idea that we were poisoning our soil and water with this herbicide. Of course, considering the way they treated the people they found here, I doubt they would have cared. We, being people of conscience with several plots of land growing 100% natural, organic food, stopped using this poison as soon as the piles of evidence of the fraud Monsanto has committed and the studies many studies of the product showed just how badly we had been duped. The clincher (and one of the all-time classic video clips) is the interview with the Monsanto rep claiming it was harmless and even drinking it was safe. When the interviewer then presented him with a glass of it and asked him if he would drink it, he got furious, ended the interview, and ran away from the Round-up like it was concentrated uranium.

My friend who is a father of 3 and lived a totally healthy lifestyle, eating mostly really healthy, organically grown food developed the exact type of cancer that several studies have linked to glyphosate. (Some kind of lymphoma, I think-have to look it up.) The only thing he did that could possibly have caused it was walk around with gallons of glyphosate on his back spraying mustard all week long during the spring. This was before we knew about it. I've since lost touch, but I found out about his diagnosis about 2 weeks before reading 2 studies that linked it to glyphosate exposure. I know it's "only" anecdotal evidence, but that is the most trustworthy sort. Studies are up for bids.

Even without looking at the evidence of danger we have an immediate problem with GMO. It is not unique to GMO but due to the clandestine way the industry conducts itself it is a serious problem. One serious problem with GMO foods is standardisation. The fact that each GMO product is genetically identical. This is a requirement because the product has to perform consistently under cultivation. The problem is that nature does not work on that basis. Nothing in nature is standardised that way. Take corn, in Mexico where there are many types of corn, a typical cob will have ears of several colours, reflecting the genetic diversity of the cob. This is much less the case with GMO because the plants must retain certain genes to resist the pesticides, or to produce them. Thus when we eat a lot of GMO we are eating the same proteins over and over again. Genetic research has shown that humans adapt to their local environment and local foods. The environment for its part interacts with the genes turning them off and on., and promoting or mediating genetic damage. There are polymorphisms in genes throughout the gene pool that respond uniquely to different foods and environmental factors. This is why people may thrive in one place eating one kind of food, but not in another eating different food. The standardisation represented by GMO leaves people who eat a lot of it, eating a diet containing standardised components to which they will likely not have adapted. And because the food is so standardised there is little diversity in proteins expressed. This eliminates many of the benefits of diversity in the diet. This problem is also seen with Soy Wheat, and Corn, which are in many foods in whole or in part. We see this problem all the time with natural foods when people migrate to a new country. The displaced population begins to develop new disease due to their new environment. In the Western World Africans get more hypertension, Indians get more heart disease, and everyone gets more diabetes. Ones size fits all standardised foods are going to make a lot of people sick if they eat it all the time. Without labelling nobody will know, and as GMO has penetrated so deeply into Soy and Corn and as a result into the food supply this process is probably well under way. If one then turns to the possibility of adverse reactions to the novel genes and proteins in GMO produce then things could get worse. Studies conducted to date have not screened the test populations for confounding genetic traits, or mineral and vitamin deficiencies and are for this reason largely worthless. Certain responses are specific to certain genes or polymorphisms and would be drowned out in a population wide study. Just as looking for peanut allergies would average to zero if everyone was tested. Standardised one size fits all food with no labelling or accountability is a problem, even without specific toxins or antigens.
@wjestick
@wjestick 9 жыл бұрын
***** "all vegetables are standardized by centuries of selected breeding." True up to a point, but more so in the developed world than in the third world. However there is still enormous diversity in cultivated strains because the process of cross breeding is decentralised. Lentils in India are quite different from those grown in Canada say.. "None of the vegetables men eat can survive in the wide." Not true. It is true yields fall for a few seasons, but robustness can be selected for quite quickly. Most important the seed is not prepared in a central location. So local adaptation can be exploited. GMO need to retain certain predefined attributes due to the need to produce or resist certain pesticides or herbicides. This creates both an economic dependence on the seed supplier, and a restriction on crop diversity. This becomes a problem when the product is distributed globally. Where food is concerned, one size does not fit all. There is abundant literature to support this fact
@wjestick
@wjestick 9 жыл бұрын
***** 1. The question of genetic diversity relates to the concept of GMO as it is implemented in the market. It is not restricted to what are, currently the most popular crops. 2. These grains provide their calories primarily in the form of starch and fructose (You know about high fructose corn syrup yes?) These grains also contain a variety of oils, vitamins and minerals. The form and bioavailability of these nutrients can and does vary. You may be aware of the term resistant starch. The genetics, and therefore the biochemistry of the humans eating the food also varies. You probably know what polymorphisms are. So often we find that a population is matched very closely with its primary food sources at a genetic level. For example some populations have a restricted pathway for using a certain B-Vitamin but suffer no adverse effects. This is so because their diet contains local foods that are very rich in this vitamin. Sometimes at a level not well tolerated by people without this polymorphism. Change the cultivar and negative health consequences manifest. Just as it does when individuals move to a new area where the food is not available. Distributing a genetically restrictive crop globally has the potential to massively amplify this problem. It would be like everyone moving to America and switching to the standard American diet with all its negative health implications.
@wjestick
@wjestick 9 жыл бұрын
***** First, you stated in your previous post that people ate the common GMO products Corn, Soy, Wheat, mainly for their starch content. I mentioned HFCS only to correct that error, not to enter a discussion on its merits. Since I have had to return to the topic I will also point out that SOY is a rich source of protein and fats. Moving back to the topic at hand. The Example I gave was to illustrate the fact that populations and their foods have converged genetically over time. Peoples did not breed crops in response to their nutritional needs. Before the 20th century people did not even know what a vitamin was, much less know how to breed a plant to make more of it. What happened in fact was a population would migrate to an area and eat what they found. Some would thrive and others would not. This selected for polymorphisms that happened to benefit from the nutrients available in the environment. Cultivation was motivated by more obvious factors like taste, yield, pest resistance, or other factors. Sometimes these changes were detrimental to the nutritional value of the food. There is Archaeological evidence that the introduction of grains to certain cultures resulted in increase tooth decay and reduced bone length. Radical changes in food stuffs even natural ones have a history of causing serious problems. Distributing genetically restrictive foods globally in a few generations will cause immeasurable harm. ***** To fully comprehend the message of wheat belly one has to think critically. The problems with wheat arise from two primary sources. 1. The novel proteins found in the modern semi-dwarf strains, gliadin and wheatgerm agglutinin. 2. The rapid and wide adoption of these proteins into a wide population , often displacing foods of proven nutrition and safety for those populations. GMO foods have a higher risk for both these factors. 1, The process of gene insertion causes significant and unpredictable alteration of the plant genome and as a result the expressed proteins. 2. The aggressive marketing practices of the bio-tech companies has lead to the wide dispersal of these crops across the globe. Given the time it has taken to highlight the issues relating to wheat, this is far too rapid to fully evaluate the effects on newly exposed populations.

And yes, plants that are made of organic compounds is not organic, and bacteria-produced chemicals is not organic , and all thats inorganic is bad for you, So why not ban everything around us that is not a living thing, including the air we breath...etc. Sure things that are not made of organic compounds can be bad for you, but all those evolution refined special plant eater targeting poisons that plants fill themselves p with can be so bad they will kill you. Anatoxin-A, a natural compound that is produced by algae, is one of the fastest acting poisons in the world, kill you within 3-7 minutes. Cyanide found in the seeds of certain plants can kill yo, so don't eat two ground up cherry seeds as that will bring the lethal dose of cyanide. Water, what every thing on earth needs to survive, can be poisonous to humans as well, it called water intoxication, can kill you. Chill gmo haters, we cant have agriculture or become multi-cellular organisms without it.

+tralnok I personally believe that no matter what the debate say, we should just solve other problems first, like people who only care about profit and human conflict. Then we could not use GMO for larger yields, but instead use vertical farming for larger yields. we should also continue researching about Carbon Nano Tubes, which is so strong a material it could build tall large cities and allow for nature to retake the land as we no longer required it. We should also keep developing ways to make bio-fuel to replace oil.

This was just too hilarious. I especially liked the "dipping the corn in pesticide" demonstration at the beginning. Of course no one would want to eat it, but I have no idea what it was supposed to mean, since it has nothing to do with reality. The host hints that it was supposed to be Roundup, yet he indicates not once, but twice, that it must smell pretty bad. It therefore can't be Roundup since Roundup has virtually no odor. Furthermore, dipping the corn in whatever compound it was supposed to be has to just be for show, because that would be hundreds of thousands of times more than the maximum dose you would ever get in the real world. A pretty ridiculous scam.

Gee, I don't know about that.... They spray it on the plants, and then it soaks into the ground when the plant takes it up in its root system and then into the plant itself, so his dipping the corn in the herbicide is probably less damaging than eating the GMO grown corn.

That should be reason enough for all of you to shut the fuck up. Human beings have a natural habitat with natural food sources to which we either adapted over tremendously long periods of time, or we were designed for a specific habitat and food sources, etc. It has been confirmed that human beings did not and do not deal well with the sudden shift brought about by the agricultural revolution, and it will be found that all manner of other perversions of human life are the cause of all manner of horrifically negative consequences. Therefore, "the burden of proof" lies with those who make claims and presumptions to the contrary about their pet perversions.

question /comments I have: 1.What about the pesticides/herbicides used on non gmo plants? If that much herbisticide is used, wont farmers be bankrupt, and the plants all dying?(dose=poison) 2.The dose is the poison(water messes up your spine if you drink too much in too short a time, does that mean you have to ban water? ALL chemicals are poisonous at a dose), plants everywhere have insect neuro toxin, chemicals that mess up insect's bodies and cause them to die fast, but not humans, gmo or not. 3.If the said caused diseases are true, why are people not dying left and right everywhere? You want agriculture? GMO. 4.Agriculture is what (mother) nature did not intend at all. But our ancestors, who is a lot smarter than this video, figured out how to grow their food instead of just running around chasing their food with spears and foraging. Also natural corn is just a stick of say, ten green seeds, try eating that for dinner. 5.That lame 'lab' animal experiment is done on rats which have 80% chance of getting cancer in their life times and a only potato diet,gmo or not, is extremely protein poor. The 'experiment' does not even have a control! So when all sorts of problem show up do not blame the gmo. 6. pesticides dont make it through the production line of our food. 7.I can go on all day about just how anti-science this video and the entire anti-gmo movement really is. by 2100, the world population is going to hit around 12 billion, how much food are we going to need then? Are we going to replace the world's forests with farm land, or are we going to develop crops with higher yield(GMO) and horizontal farming?GMO food not only REDUCES pesticide use, but increases yield .Dont judge before you know. Also, GMO food is also organic as well, its just plants, and there is no synthetic things involved.You want natural? Go eat an all natural apple and taste the sourness, go eat that extinct banana, go swallow that bitter 550 mm big water'melon'.\ Learn real Science people. plant cross breeding is not the same thing as gene splicing whereby what is done in the lab cannot ever happen in nature, such as splicing a gene of a fish into the gene of a tomato. My gut feeling is that that tomato won't be as good for you as a non-gmo tomato. You might know it right away, but over time, it could harm you. We have scene rising incidents of many diseases, especially allergies in children.

obione240 The GMO thing is risky because once the entire seed supply is GMO, there is no way to reverse it, and we might not see problem for years, when it might be too late. The risk is too great. We are seeing a rise in allergies. GMOs corn creates a toxin in the corn to cause insects stomachs to explode, killing them. Could this be causing the leaky gut syndrome in children, which, in turn, food particles get directly into the bloodstream, causing and immune response and thus an allergy, to the food ? Ya think? Allergies are on the rise like no time in history, corresponding to the advent of GMOs. We are charting a dangerous course tampering at the gene level.

I find the info really helpful. Don't understand why we have to keep being reminded every 3mins about the booklet once at the start once at the end is sufficient surely? I haven't forgotten 😕 It's just so distracting and takes away from the actual info Dr is saying.

The universities all over the world should teach the principles and the research institutes of this world should investigate the underlying mechanisms of Sepp Holzer permaculture/agro-ecology. Sepp Holzer's agricultural system beats conventional/GMO farming in every regard: more production per surface unit, more diversity, more landscape beauty, intact and clean water household and most important, food would become medicine, as food grown in permaculture is packed with nutrients and antioxydants. If the world adopts Sepp Holzer's farming system, we would live in a world of abundance and beauty. We could feed 3 times more people than currently live on earth. Vive Sepp Holzer! Hoch lebe Sepp Holzer! 赛普·霍尔泽,加油!

Another silly fad promoted by a slick operator to fleece the credulous. Ask yourself a question: how does his income from his toy farm compares to his income from the sales of his books, videos, tours, speeches etc etc? There you have it.

So the bad things about gmo is that they get sprayed by more pesticides, might get more expensive since they have to buy seeds every year. And the good things are less blind children and less starving people. I would say that the pros far outweights the cons and i think that more yield would help keep the price down.

+SimonGrandell Your post is False. I have been a farmer all my life born and raised on the Farm. GMO seed cost a lot more to buy but we get to use LESS pesticides in return. Farmers quit saving seed in the mid 1930's with the development of hybrid seed so that is not an issue. If you have any questions please ask.

+David Adcock Ok so then the whole thing about you having to buy the seeds are moot in this video? Thanks for correcting me.

I thought the intent was to use our food for gas biofuel. The problem maybe crop failure, farmers are reporting low production. I bought a box of honey puffs, my memory must cereal tastes like cardboard, the puffs don't puff like they use to be so big and puffy.

The glyphosate sprayed on GMO crops is a soil nutrient binder. If you haven't seen the soil in a field that has been sprayed with Roundup for years, you cannot understand the damage it does to the soil. When the nutrients are bound up the plants grown in it become very weak. They are also nutrient-less crops that produce nutrient-less food. This is part of the reason that we have so many people with severe nutrient deficiencies today. At some point, field that have been repeatedly sprayed become unable to produce a strong viable crop. We have to stop destroying our soils. If we go back to older farming methods of putting mineral rich ash on the soil and rotating our crops the soils may have a chance to recover. If not.. we will end up with soil that cannot sustain a healthy crop. Ignoring the facts that we know is the definition of ignorance. We have to wake up. Buy only organic produce and leave all the other poisonous food on the supermarket shelves to rot. This is how we consumers directly affect the market and convince the grocery stores what we want. We consumers tell the market what to put on the shelve. Make wise decisions when you buy food. PEACE

a soil nutrient binder? That's a new one to me.

Yes when glyphosate lands on the soil, it binds the nutrients. That is the mechanism that kills the weeds.. But it also robs the soil of nutrients.. it also kills the micro flora and micro organism, worms etc that add to the soil. Compare soil that has been organic for over 10 years to soil that has been sprayed with glyphosate. the Organic soil is full of life and nutrients... the monsanto soil is dead.. My dad also had his well water tested at my request for glyphosate.. At first he argued that roundup become inert once it hits soil.. That is not true. And finally he got it tested.. The County immediately came out to the farm and shut his well down, it had toxic levels of glyphosate (active ingredient in Roundup).. They told him his well was contaminated and could not be used again.. My mom had died 10 years before of cancer.. glyphosate is a known carcinogenic poison.. it is on their website under hazards and warnings page.. There was a damage case $350 million awarded in superior court SF.. and the plaintiff's attorneys proved that the cancerous tumor they took from him had toxic levels of glyphosate proving cause.. There are 5k more cases currently waiting to be heard.

a lot of Americans want companies to start labeling GMOs I say start looking at the labels I was shopping today and I checked a lot of labels and a lot of it is right there modified whatever that means there's a GMO ingredient it don't need to be on the front just read the back of the label

If it's not modified, it's irradiated. Usually both. We all need to grow our own foods and livestock, and share with those in need. Jesus helps the helpful. Maranatha!

Right in the middle my sugar puff story I posted, ha ha. Well anyway, 2 years ago all of my friends and my mother's friends were taking their cat to the vet almost all had intestinal tract infections, caused I think by the GMO corn in the cat food, dog food is also contaminated. The veterans will not go up against Monsanto. Doctors do not even report the number of animals seen, The vets are just injoying the money comming in no worries about the bills maybe with these epidemic proportions he thinks he will buy a new Bmw, sports model. The medical doctors will be doing the same thing to us, They will get rich off of the sheer numbers oder of patients with cancer from GMO'S, AND IF U ARE A LUCKY AMERICAN THAT LIVES ON THE WEST COAST THE CANCER WILL BE BLAMED ON Fukushima , Japan. instead of the real culprit, Monsanto's GMO CROPS. We need a plan, crazy people are running the world.

PEOPLE: please understand that even if you eat organic only, you need to still fight fluoridated water. Fluoride is a neurotoxin that reduces IQ (27 studies), causes cancer, and reduces life span. Fluoridated water is used through the US to grow fruits and vegetables. If you eat organic fruit and veges grown with fluoridated water (73% of all US water districts fluoridate), you will still be getting a harmful neurotoxin. The average IQ loss is around 7 points in most areas, which results in halving the number of geniuses and doubling the number of folks with low IQ.
