Just came across your channel, and have been binge watching. My brother had a 65, I believe, with a 2 something and a 4 speed. There is a 4 cycl. here in town. Don't know him but see it him t the car shows a lot. Funniest looking engine I've ever seen. (Van Isle, B.C.)_

First harness I did back in the 80s I put the hot for the lighter on the ground terminal and learned fast how quickly the smoke comes out!

You guys worked your butts off in a wk.You`re gonna have some bugs, which is par for the course.The cluster looks too nice for the rest of the dash though. Might have to freshen up the "black" and the "silver" trim.With that nice interior the dash has got to match up better IMO.

10:31-10:50 : That is a block-off plate. Most '64-'72 (Tempest/LeMans/GTO) used this as a standard. You could get optional clock or tachometer.

Liv, tell your boys that a TRUE street rod doesnt need a big blasting stereo system, as no music is as sweet as the growl of a nice engine sound 😂. A good street rodder is more interested in listening to the "symphony of horsepower ", and early detection of any "instrument" that might be having problems.

Fellas, from a car audio enthusiast I have to tell you that you should never run your power and ground wires down the same side of the vehicle and you should run the RCA cables down the side with the ground to avoid motor static or engine noise (feedback) hopefully you don't have this issue when the motor goes in but if you then buy a ground loop isolator and that should help eliminate the unwanted noises....

I have the same setup on engine mounts and trans. How did you get the long tube headers to fit?? I had speed engineering and I would have to bang the headers to fit. Did you have issues?? I now have mid length Holley headers and fit very nicely without issues.

Can you share the info on which transmission cross-member and which engine mounts you went with?
